My experience with U-Haul was frustrating. When I made my reservation, I asked for a guarantee for 15' truck, a dozen moving blankets and a dolly. I was not aware that the pickup location was changed. I went to the location I was initially told, got their 15 minutes before the pickup time and nobody came to open up for 30 minutes, and when we said we've been waiting for 30 minutes they said we were wrong. Once inside they admitted they were somewhere else which is why they were late. They then told us our pickup location was at another place. Drove there, now 20-25 minutes late, and they had no idea where the U-Haul guy was, told me to talk to the manager. When the U-Haul guy came in, we went back and forth, I shared my name, and he said there was no reservation (another customer in the room had the same issue). He said he had a reservation for 10:00 am and I said, it was me. He said no and said to come to the back room to check the computer, and there on the screen was my name. I had to point it out to him. The truck wasn't that clean but I said it was just to get going....but when I asked about the dolly and blankets, they had no idea and couldn't provide them. I "fortunately" had a great experience with the U-Haul at Wilton Manors, FL. I called them since I had a great experience with them the previous day getting boxes and other supplies. They again were very helpful and provided blankets & hand truck (no dolly's) at no charge. This location was FANTASTIC...the other two were useless. Back to when I picked up the truck, I asked for the receipt and they told me they emailed it to me, they didn't. My daughter took a picture of it thankfully. Overall, I had people waiting two hours for me because of this run-around by U-Haul. I am more than willing to talk about this. I should not have been charged for the blankets and dolly that I didn't get initially. I should have gotten a pro-rated refund.Patrick C.

Store was not setup for contactless pickup or delivery. Operator has to manually change online reservations and drop-offs are a hassle because of limited hours of the location.THERRIMANN E.

I went to pick up the truck at the time that I reserved and there person in charge was nor there, i had to wait 1 1/2 hour because he was on lunch. Then at the end he charge me a full fill up service fee $30 fee & fuel sales 27 gallons for $96.95. I called in advance, made a reservation for a 27' truck at Dixie Hwy Wilton Manor location. They sent us 20 miles RT to pickup a 15' truck. We extended to movers to 2 trips, less than 7 miles apart and were charged for all the miles. plus we waited 30 min. for the lication to open on a Fri. The worst mgmt and consultants I ever dealt with. Plus I called the day before to confirm and plenty of trucks available they said I intend to dispute my credit card charge. The equipment (6x12') trailer was old junk. The locking mechanism was garbage and the piece that is used to hold on to and also keep the door from rolling up/back too far (not the strap) was missing. It was a pain in the ass to open, close, lock and unlock. Also, the lights were so old and dim they were a serious hazard. It just needs a remodel or to be retired. The railing/s inside have already been glued and or repaired multiple times.Anthony S.

17 foot truck was not available and I had to settle for a 15 foot truck. Reserved time was 10am. I waited at least an hour because no one was in the office. I charge was at least $70 more than what I got just 2-3 weeks before at another location. So I had to settle for less miles.Angela B.
Location is confusing. The building that was marked for U-Haul was an empty building. Had to go to the main sales building for the auto dealership to get help. Then had to listen to the person helping me call someone because the one truck was rented by two different people and he needed permission to give me the truck.Marvin B.
