Truck was dirty inside, with only 1/4 tank of gas. No day parking, which wasn’t mentioned prior and led to lost time. Customer service was less than polite.

The return location that is on your web site and agreed to apparently closed in August. They and the new site stated their frustration that U-Haul has not been able to fix their web site. I was in a hurry to drop at former location and returned trailor after a meeting I had little time to get to. I was therefore charged a late return fee - really! You folks need to get your act together. “New” Drop location was not open and the red “closed” sign was blinking in window therefore no assistance their at all. All in all pretty frustrating. Competition Bureau should reconsider your monopoly position. It is in your interest to return charge for later return immediately.

Vehicle was fine for city driving but at highway speed it pulled very much to the left and had a shimmy. I would recommend an alignment at least.

I was not told ahead of time that I could not leave my vehicle on site during my rental period. I would have appreciated knowing this ahead of time (I booked online so didn't speak to anyone prior to arriving for pickup ). Wayne the owner made me feel like I was more a burden than appreciating my business. Very poor customer service skills.

The truck I had reserved was given to a gentleman who came in before me claiming to have a reservation. When they couldn't find his reservation, they struck my name off my contract and gave him my truck. I was given a bigger truck as it was all that was available. I was invoiced more for that truck also. I think this was terrible service as I should not be penalized for your company error. Had I been given the other truck at the same price as the one I had reserved, my opinion would be different.

I booked my truck 2.5 weeks in advance. Two days before moving I was left a message stating the location in pet was closed that day and I had to pick up in Pembroke at 1230 instead of 0900 like I had planned. So not only do I have to pay extra for more km, but I had to rearrange everyone's day waiting hours. I couldn't get a hold of customer service (no answer). The day of I show up at the Pembroke address they gave me, they had moved! When I got to the new location there were two trucks of a different size sitting there and that's what they ended up giving me. If you were going to give me a different size, why not at least give it to me at the time I had booked. One person who helped me move said she was also sent to Pembroke last minute Skip U-Haul and go to discount.

When I went to pick up the truck at7am your computer system was down for 45 minutes which we didn’t have time to waste because we had only st this point 2 1/2 hours to be out of our house that was why I chose this location because they opened early. That was very disappointing and very stressful, you need yo have a better system and a back up plan.? People’s time is money being wasted!

The proprietor wasn't friendly or overly helpful. To return, he told me to just drop off the trailer and park it. When I checked my order history the next morning, i saw an email about returning after hours procedure. I checked my existing orders and it said that i had not returned my trailer yet, even though I had returned it within 13 hours of my 24 hour allotted time slot. I was then charged double, as the uhaul dealer had not returned it, and had not informed me that he was closed the next day, there were other options for return, and that if we didnt return promptly, we would be charged extra. So I followed the online return procedure the next day, amd got charged for 2 day periods instead of the 12 hours that i had the trailer for.

Wayne accommodated me quite well. I was to pick up a smaller size but when I saw the trailer, I noticed it was too small. Wayne made the changes even when he was busy.

When we picked up our truck at Waynes Auto Repair the owner/manager of the business was extremely rude, ignorant, and impatient. We returned the truck 15 mins early and filled the gas tank back to where it was when we picked it up as per agreement. He made us go and put another $60 worth of gas which brought it to a full tank and when we got back from gas station he said that we were late and ended up charging us a late fee. The truck was the smallest truck and according to the advirtisement we were supposed to pay $19.99 for up to 24 hours plus we added the $15 for insurance which was optional. We ended up paying $60 plus another $125 which was supposed to be returned upon drop off and wasn't. Plus the sign inside the truck said that if you sweep out the back of your rental truck you'll receive $15/off. We ended up over charged plus we didn't get anything back as promised and actually had to pay him extra for the late fee and another $60 in gas! I'm extremely disappointed. The guy at Wayne's was disrespectful and a rip off. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone. I would still be upset about being over charged but if he took the time to smile, appreciate our business, be helpful, and respectful we wouldn't be anywhere near to how disappointed and mad I am.
