I dropped the truck off on June 5th (Saturday) around 12pm. That's when it was due. Now I got a charge stating an extra 2 days?? That is very wrong. Then the owner calls me asking where the truck is, when it was pulled into the back of his lot by one of his employees!ALEXANDER S.

The truck need to have gas in the tank he lied about how much gas was in there and the meter wasn't correct. The paperwork had a didn't milage number on it when I got it. I had to go the nearest gas station to put gas in there because the tank was on E. There was one of his workers was gone in the cargo van while I was. There and I had to wait on the Cargo to get. I made reservations for 12pm and I didn't leave there until after 1pm. Then the last Day I had the rental and was on my way to turn it in . He called me and started arguing with me about what time I'm bringing in the Rental. That I had it long enough and I need to hurry up and bring it in. I've been paying for this rental everyday since I had it. And The payments have been coming out of my account. Then I get charge 983.00 dollars more. This is ridiculous!! I wouldn't recommend them to no one. I'm very unhappy. It. Doing the pandemic you really need change that milage thing or you will loose Customers.Salena F.
I got charged for a dolly rental I never received. There was nowhere to park. Uhaul was hard to pull out and pull in. Sign threatened an extra $30 fee without paperwork. I never got paperwork.Rebecca B.
This location was better than the first location at Dave Howell tires. I made the reservation for a 20' truck. When I showed up to picked up the truck the only person who knew how to check out trucks was not there (and still was not there when I finally left about 30 minutes later. Additionally, they only had a 26' truck. I rejected the larger truck as it uses a larger chassis. I drive a small car normally and did not want a larger truck. My new neighborhood has narrow streets and driveways are not large enough to accommodate thelarger truck. I then had to drive 25 minutes out of my way to pick up the correct truck size. By this time I had an errand to run on the other side of town with the truck (back near the original location). This caused my to start my moving process about 2.5 hours than originally planned. My brother was helping me load/unload the truck and had a cut off time in the evening he had to leave due to work the next day. I ended up having to make 2 trips instead of one as I needed my brothers help to move heavy items upstairs in the new house. All in all, U Haul made this the worst moving experience of my life. My wife and I worked until 1 AM to finish loading the truck for the second trip. On top of all of that, the location that had a truck last minute (J&J) did not have 24/7 return so i couldn't even return the truck that night or at a convenient location. If you cannot have a requested truck size at a specific location at the requested time, DO NOT TELL ME YOU CAN. I would have much rather picked another dedicated U Haul location to complete this transaction and plan accordingly then go through a nightmare like this. I have used U Haul for all but one of my previous moves and seriously doubt using this service again if you cannot correct your reservation issue. People are moving and are usually on tight timelines and cannont deal with this level of incompetence or inconvenience.Erich M.
I called on 3/23 21 to reserve a 10 foot truck. On 3/24/21I get a call from this location saying they don't have a 10ft truck but they have a 15ft truck to rent for the same price e as the 10ft. Upon arrival, I was given a 20ft truck and was charged the full price! I called to ask why u was charged the full price and not the same as the 10ft truck. The owner said call me tomorrow to discuss this matter. I am discussing this with my credit card company and will be disputing ALL the charges to my card! The bill was outrageous!! It was over $330 for this truck! This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional! I was a victim of the good ole bait and switch tactic and I will also be contacting the department of labor on this matter! Very unkempt office and dirty!NEVIN P.
My truck was swerving on the roads. Steering was very uneven. My check engine light came on as soon as my trip started. I made a reservation for the 10foot truck and got charged for a 20 foot when I asked not to get that vehicle. I would like some kind of refund for this uhaul I am very unsatisfied.Jordan B.

The location is in an older neighbourhood. The vehicle was clean but there was no gas in it. I havd problems accessing my information through the app. The process should have taken 15 minutes but it took me over an hour and a with 2 agents and a service rep before I could finish processing out.Angela B.
A furniture dolly was not provided. The manager knew in advance and did not remove it from the charges. We were told we could drive 17 blocks to pick up a furniture dolly. We are not familiar with the area so we declined.Louis H.

When I went to pick up the truck, I reserved it online to avoid contact as much as possible. When I got the information to get the key, it was in the wrong lockbox, and it was hard to find anyone working at the location. I wandered around and waited in the office and no one came to help until my boyfriend came into the office with me. By the time I got the correct key and was in the truck, the whole process had taken nearly 30 minutes and I was frustrated with the disorganization. I understand that things aren't always organized and that people make mistakes, but this should have been a simple process.Clare M.
The owner refused to take my temporary Georgia driver's license until he called the Mobile, AL office. He was argumentative and gruff. The office is a mess, the roof leaks and the ceiling if falling in and is covered in black mold. Would not recommend this location.Terry K.
This place looked like a junk yard, the office was filthy & the ceiling was partially collapsed from water damage, & black mold was evident to the naked eye. This location is a disaster waiting to happen, so U-Haul better send an investigator to check it out.Thomas K.
After waiting in line for 45 minutes to drop off the dolly, I was told to pull over to a spot and someone would unhook me. After waiting another ten minutes, I unhooked myself and let the sole staff member know. Received a note from U-Haul recovery yesterday saying I never retuned the dolly. After an hour on the phone, I now have a return receipt with the wrong return date and unit #. Clearly this is not even close to what I'd think you'd hope for a positive customer experience.Don L.
