Arrived 15 minutes after pick up time and had to call to have reservation time changed because mobile app would not work. Maybe the app should be updated to have a bigger window of time for pick up.

Came to get the truck at 7 am as I had ordered it, tried to use the app for pick up, as it was before the shop opened, but it kept saying that the couldnâ€™t find my location. After wasting 20 min trying to figure it out, we gave up. Drove 20 min home and then had to drive another 20 minutes back to the shop to get it 2 hrs later when it opened. Super frustrating as it wasted time and gas and delayed me and all the people I had helping me with the move! Process should be easier!!!

Customer service Was awful, truck was dirty, no one came out to check the truck upon return, said Iâ€™d receive my receipt in 30 minutes, had to call on Monday to get it.

rep at location -not good customer service and returning the truck after store closed was not easy. Using the drop box/U-haul app did not work, had to call U-haul that truck was returned and went back on Monday to drop off the key

I reserved (and was emailed a confirmation #95010236) a 15 ft truck in advance and we were given a 20 ft truck which was too large for our needs and difficult to maneuver and park in the small streets of downtown Madison. We were never contacted by U-Haul prior to our arrival explaining the situation with the wrong truck. Although the dealer had a 15ft truck on the lot, they indicated that someone else had rented it for a one way trip. The representative at the store was indicating that this was a U-Haul mistake even though we called the local dealer to make the reservation. Also, I was displeased with the return procedures required at the end out of rental. Not user friendly and difficult to navigate on the U-Haul website. Will consider other rental options In the future .

I made the reservation for Sunday on the previous Thursday. The next day, Friday, I received a call from a uhual rep. I had opted for self check in, but they said if I waited an hour, there would be someone there to check me in. There was no one there.

They marked the fuel gauge incorrectly. they marked it as half full, when the gauge was 1 tick over half full, as it was when I left. Careless of them. The $9.78 fuel charge should be refunded to me.

Keys were not left in UHaul pickup box and agent at the store was 35 minutes late to open, then had an attitude as if it was my fault she had to come to work. She admitted she "forgot" to put the keys in the box because she "had a lot going on" and needed to leave. Aside from the location issues, UHaul experience overall was pleasant.

First we started with a quote over the phone with the young lady, she quoted us 55.00, we were stranded, and they came and got us, which was extremely nice of them, my husband went to pick up the uhaul, they said our card would not be charged , because we told them we would pay cash when we dropped it off, and we were going 147 miles one day, they told us our home town wouldn't accept this uhaul, that we had to travel another 35 miles, (which was inaccurate, bc when I called all three uhauls in my town, they said yes they would have accepted it.) We went the 35 miles to drop the trailer, and the very awesome helpful staff @ tmc automotive, informed us that the card had already been charged 193 dollars, she said when you go one way, they automatically charge. It would have been nice to know, the manager was the person approving our rental, so I'm sure she knew that. Why was it so much? For a over nite rental?

I was told I would be able to pick up the U-Haul at the location on Bluemound Road/JJ. That did not happen I had to go to another location which I was not happy about .
