The safety cables were a good idea at first, but they aren't holding up well. I found out when unhooking later that the end of the cable was frayed and rusty. Had I seen it when hooking up, I may have asked for it to be replaced if they were able. The tail end was frayed enough that it poked my hand through thick gloves when unhooking later. Thankfully I'm up to date on my tetanus vaccine.
KURT TRented a car transporter. Rental went well, equipment worked well, cost was reasonable.
