The back had a lot of debris in it. The renters before us didnâ€™t refuel which was an extra stop for us. The a/c cut in and out. I asked for no equipment but there were two dollies that took up space we needed. Otherwise it got the job done

I was told I was getting a 15' truck, but only got a 10' truck, said it sat three people when only a two seater. No ramp on the back so loading was much more difficult than anticipated.

The truck was not brought to us. The battery was dead in the truck and the gas tank was empty. It was pouring down rain. the gentleman at the desk was helpful but would not recommend this place.

I would have liked to have done a walk around of the vehicle before taking it to note any blemishes or damage. I noticed several things when I got home and was worried I would be held liable for them (I was not).

Make sure truck is cleaned and everything works. I deserve some money back for the way we received the truck. I will definitely won't be renting from Uhaul again.

Originally had placed order online, nothing was reserved. Talked to customer service and after some begging was scheduled to pick up after 1pm. My movers were scheduled at 9am. Then was sent 45 minutes drive to pick up. Then recieved second confirmation for 11am at different location late Friday night. Actually spoke to secretary at that location and went to pick it up nrxt day. When I arrived there, the reservation pulled up under a different name for a different piece of equipment. But luckily, they had that equipment and signed it as a walk in. An hour later, I was able to pull out with the trailer. Then was sent to one location to drop off, where I was told that it was changed to another location inside city limits of a bigger city. I have never dealt with such poor planning, and extremely disappointed in the service and mistakes made.

This is not a comment regarding regarding the pick up location - but of the process in place to pick up the trailer. I completed an online request to pick up a trailer in my home town Bloomington, IL. This was for a one-way trip to Edwardsville, IL. I got my confirmation and was instructed to go the location in my home town to pick up the trailer. I decided to go mid-day Friday to pick it up rather than waiting until the end of the day. When I go there expecting to pick up the trailer, I was told I would need to pick the trailer up in Rantoul, IL. Are you kidding me - that's an hour away!!!! There was no mention until then that I might need to travel to another location to pick up the trailer - especially a location that fa away. If I had not that upfront, I would have made other arrangements. I ended up having to take off from work Friday afternoon in order to pick up the trailer as at that point I had no other options. This is a terrible process. What is anyone thinking that someone coming in to the store has time to travel 2 hours just to pick up their trailer that have reserved. I will definitely consider other trailer rental companys next time I need to rent a trailer. The overall use of the trailer went fine - but the process of picking up the trailer was awful and cost me 1/2 day of missing work. Customers need to know well in advance if they will be traveling someplace else to pick up their trailer. The current process is ridiculous.

This location was great. So I hope my comments do not reflect on them. They recommended I call the online number's customer service to see if I could get a pick up closer to my (requested) location and to have them change the overall mileage since the distance was over 20 miles farther than my initial request. My conversation was absolutely the worst experience on a telephone with anyone I have ever spoken with. I'm hoping the belligerence was chalked up to residual emotions from some horrific caller prior to me. I couldn't believe the tone and unkind manner she used with me. I will definitely be looking to other services before I rely on uhaul for my next rental. The call was made at 12:07pm to 1 (800) 468-4285, if you would like to listen and make corrective actions to better customers' experience.
