I was not called regarding the fact that you changed my pickup location from my local town to one the opposite direction 40 mins away. Had I not noticed in the online pre checkin, I would have gone to the wrong place. It also cost us to be late getting to our destination and forced us to stay over night to complete what we needed to had we been there before 4pm.

I checked into my reservation the night before. The pickup place was STREETSBORO. When I got there the next day I was told the reservation had been changed to Ravenna, 8 more miles down the road. I was not pleased. If Streetsboro ran out of trucks, they should have gotten one for me at the appointed spot. I had to drive to Ravenna and then found no one attending the desk. Me and another customer waited ten minutes before someone showed up. I might try Penske next time.
The staff made the assumption based upon my arrival time ( 25 minutes early) that I was a different customer and different reservation. Ten minutes later, with great effort, I was able to re-direct the staff to my reservation. Thereafter, good service.
The truck was clean, but not really safe for the highway. The steering was so loose it was difficult to keep it on the road. I was shocked that Uhaul is not more vigilant in making sure their equipment is safe and road worthy!!

Saturday was busy, maybe a self serve check out for items in showroom could help We needed to rent a appliance dolly, took almost 45 minutes.
Truck was not clean. I was also charged an after hours charge of $20. The vehicle was returned well within the allotted time.

Although I know that Ford is going to program a 5k mile break in oil change, and that it's not a big deal to go a bit over that, its probably a good idea to have any warning lights on the vehicles fixed before a customer gets in. Great location, easy and fast pickup, easy and fast return as well. Warning lights on vehicles clearly aren't a negative towards the employees running the front desk.
I would have liked to travel one way and drop off at another location similar to Enterprise. Seems odd to have to bring an empty truck back for a 2-3 hour drive, especially if you have other way home.
After the agent helped hitch the trailer, I received a text from UHAUL about existing damage with photos that were too poor to see along with wanting me to do a lot of electronic-hoop-jumping to take photos and send them of the damaged areas. I messed with it a short while, gave up and went back in and talked to the agent. Stickers with an X were put on the damaged areas. I was finally ready to leave. I know to just delete that message the next time in a couple of weeks.

I want a call from a manager. This was the worst experience ever. We were supposed to pick up the truck at 7am. We had to wait until the store opened because you didn't check in the truck properly and the keys weren't there. I had movers that I was paying at my house sitting there doing nothing. I want reimbursement. I had to make two trips because you threw my day behind two hours and movers had to leave.
Train your employees. They put a huge dent in my car while attaching the trailer.
The van had crumbs on dash and an old napkin still located on it. I dont believe it was cleaned prior to me renting.
I rented a small open trailer and the U-Haul employee hooked it up and I got a mile down the road into an intersection and it unhooked and drug on the ground. He did not tighten the hitch onto the ball I had to go back to get the lights hooked back up. I am happy it did not damage my vehicle.
The kid working the counter handed us a key and said, â€œIt's out back.â€ There were 5 trucks out back. We asked which one it was. He replied, â€œit's out there just look for it.â€ The truck shook very badly. I reserved a truck three weeks in advance at the location by my house. The day before I got a text saying I had to pick up at a different location.
Man at counter was a bit slow, seemed to not be well schooled in the business. Upon return of truck, I had to wait for a receipt, he couldn't get the printer to work. After waiting for 10 minutes, he told me to come back in 2 hours to get my receipt. Really? I live quite a distance away and he wants me to come back. Never again.
I tried to call and got no answer. When I got there I had to wait too long to get service. You need more staff at this store
