Better Rate Storage is great. However the agent, Silverback Services of where we were routed to pick up our truck is terrible and very unprofessional. Our truck was not available for us on the day we went to pick it up and we had to be delayed 2 hours trying to remedy the mess of a situation that happened. I will never use this method of pickup and will not recommend Silverback Services because of the rudeness received to us and the unwillingness to help with correcting the issue of our truck being taken by another individual. Our experience was very stressful and not anything I would recommend to anyone else. Better Rate Storage saved the day for us when I called them and explained the situation and the dissatisfied service we received at Silverback Services.Vada F.

The u-haul share return process was horrible. The website would not grab my location even though I had granted location access. I downloaded another browser to try again and it eventually found my location. Adding pictures to the steps in the return process made the mobile return nearly unusable. It only let me add three photos for most of my experience. I would get to step 4 and try to add a photo of where the truck was parked but it would not upload the photos. I eventually figured that the 4 photos were probably too large in file size to be uploaded. So, I switched to the front facing camera with lower resolution and it finally uploaded. I work in IT support which I why I came to this conclusion. It should not take a person in IT support to figure out how to return one of your trucks. I will not use U-haul again.Dalton W.

I had movers that never answered my call for two weeks and had to switch to new movers last minute . They do not cover any differences in money if this happens and you have to switch last minute since their movers through U-Haul are advertisements . Tried to find different movers and five of them weren't even real places and were located nowhere near red Lion pa per filter I entered to search in the area . The day of moving we were supposed to get our truck earlier than the scheduled time and nothing was available we had to get a new size truck and truck share because ours somehow was relocated to north George street instead of in red Lion . Let's keep in mind that I also paid for all of this a month and a week in advance and it all went to hell a week before movingRaylin N.

The location for pick up/drop off fit our needs. HOWEVER, our experience with U-Haul was TERRIBLE!!! I reserved our truck on-line, never received an access code for lock box to pick the truck up before location office hours. Kelly at A Better Rate Storage had to input all information a second time and U-Haul kept giving an "error" message. It was a TOTAL mess!!! We lost 2 hours in moving!!! We will NEVER again use U-Haul for moving and we certainly will NOT recommend U-Haul to anyone!!! Penske here we come!Victoria H.

Broken light and bent top corner damage. It was high and hard to see (also raining when I picked it up). No mention of those prior. I hate to see the charges if I hadn't noticed that. I hade to duct tape the light to keep it in position.Keith C.
I disagreed with the charging after returning the rental. I was informed someone from Uhaul would be calling within 48 hours. I never received a phone, but I was charged. The gas tank was not filled and there were beverage bottles rolling around on the floor. This would be an easy fix for your business to acknowledge.Tina P.
Check-in process was horrible. It took an hour to get the truck after we were at the rental location. Parking for rental trucks is very limited. Large trucks are parallel parked on shoulder of entranceway.Nathaniel A.
I had a really difficult time getting my truck at the appointed time because of the u haul on line site not having me reservation. I spoke to several different people through the day several times about the issue. I even had to call 3-4 different telephone numbers to try and get help from someone to resolve the issue. It wasn't until about 1 1/2- 2 hours later that i finally spoke to a manager from York and he was able to help me finally. This experience was quite aggravating, time-consuming, and worrisome, i was afraid i be able to get a truck to move my items. Needless ty say that if this is the only way to get a truck i won't be doing it again!Gina S.
The personnel at this location were very friendly and helpful considering I had difficulty with the mobile phone check in. There were two employee's and the atmosphere inside was friendly and very inviting. They couldn't do enough for us.Jeanette S.

The equipment was clean but the rate of gas this truck burned was ridiculous I went 36.4 miles and it took me 15 gallons gas to return the truck So it isnt being maintained correctlyCARL E.

The morning of us getting our rental, they FORGOT they needed to put 2 new tires on the truck. They didn't want to give it to us. They tried calling around to get us another truck, called someone else and then finally after about 30 minutes let us just take the truck. This is something that should have been looked at BEFORE you rent out a truck. If it isn't available due to getting tires then we should have been called not notified once we got there. We would NOT come back to this location again as the service was very poor. Also, the app is just hard to use not happy with the services we got and paid for.Brent L.
Reserved for pickup at 10:30, but was not handed keys until 11 because of system glitches wiping out a of my information despite having previously rented from this location but was still told needed to return by 10:30 the next day to avoid 2nd day charge. I mentioned I might need to keep truck for a second day and was told that was fine as long as it was returned by 4pm forbath reservation. The next day at 12 noon I received a call stating the truck needed to be returned by 12:30 because they had reserved to someone for 1pm. Overall dissatisfied with rental service.Andrew D.
