I rented a 6x12 enclosed trailer. It’s a well made tandem axle trailer. One thing that would be a huge improvement for people would be a jack to help ease hooking up the trailer. It’s almost a 2 person job to pick it up and hook it up. I can assure you most women that need to rent this will need help hooking it up by themselves. Once it’s loaded you can forget unhooking it without a jack to raise it up.

Travel plans change. Uhaul was unable to assist in any meaningful way, financially or otherwise, to help with my travel changes. As it turned out, we did not physically need the Uhaul truck for the last 48 hours of the reservation and wanted to return it to another location. All representatives I spoke to said I would be penalized from $500-$1000 for returning to another location. Unprofessional and inconsiderate. The only positive experience with Uhaul was that the vehicle did not break down on the road.

The GPS locator did not work so we could not use the self check in mobile app. Our pick up time was 8 o’clock but we had to wait till 9 o’clock for someone to arrive at the location. The keys were not in the truck and the lock was on the back of the truck so even if the self check in could work they were not prepared for us. When I called that same day to complain, I was told they general manager would call me in a few days. It is been over a week and still no call.

From moment you arrive location and people working there feel shady. Location has different name then listed on uhaul site. The woman working there consistently looking for ways to charge you after drop off. Opened back of truck and claimed it was dirty and was gonna charge me $25 cleaning fee even though I swept it meticulously, only after I said would return somewhere else did she back off. Then tried charging me $43 fee, said it was for me going over my allotted mileage which I didnt, called 1-800# and was told she was actually trying to charge me for an extra day even though I brought back 6 hours before my deadline. When I asked for return paperwork, she refused and said that uhaul no longer allows locations to use paperwork and all transaction must be done on her smart phone!! Really???

The registration process was flawed. I submitted everything online - drop off location, payment information, trailer type to be reserved, etc. However, I had to sit as the office reentered the majority of the information. I was told that UHaul is moving to a more online experience, but what should have been a quick in and out was about a 45 minute process. Also, while I am able to hook up my trailer, I was told where it was, the registration number and sent on my way - no one from the shop came to verity that I got the right one, that it was hooked up properly, etc.

As far as this location nothing however the MOVERS i paid for thru you were horrendous. Paid for services online and they begged for additional funds and took so many smoke breaks they went over the time limit and i ended up moving more than them., They explained they were on disability and not supposed to lift heavy items. WHY do you THINK I HIRED THEM???

I was not happy dealing with an on-line reservation service. First they got me the incorrect location, so I had to call again and wait 20 -30minutes to register for the location and try to cancel the incorrect location order #. I wanted in the town I lived. I also had to call back again to wait at least 20 minutes to cancel the first incorrect reservation since the gave up after waiting so long on hold. Everything well great at the location I rented the tow dolly from. You need to greatly improve your on-line service- sucks.

The truck was terrible to drive. It steered all over the place. The headlights were aimed ten biopic feet in front of the truck and flickered enough to start a deer into an epileptic seizure. The interior dome light didn’t work.

I was not advised there would be a cost to use the dolly. I was charged $25 because they had to fold blankets. I was charged $20 for gas despite returning with the amount I left with. No interest in making this right when I called to dispute. Don’t appreciate the lack of transparency in explaining costs to me.

receptionist was very rude and had horrible customer service skills. she did not try in any way to help resolve issues I had but instead told me it wasn't her problem and for me to call the 800 number
