The gas station attendant on site handed me a card for Rob Emery, Area Field Manager, and told me to call him. Rob was very helpful and friendly, especially as it was a Sunday morning, and Mothers Day on top of that! He quickly confirmed the necessary information, reviewed some best practices, and walked me through retrieving the key. He made it a very easy and pleasant experience.

Arrived at the gas station and attendant handed us a card to call Uhaul to finalize our rental. He was not very vested in Uhaul's customer service. Your national computer network was down that day and when we called the 800 # we were told to leave our phone number and wait for a call back. Operator was completely unsympathetic to the fact that we were on a tight moving schedule, it was hot out and there was no solution in sight. We waited about 15 minutes but did not trusted that the operator that took our number gave a rip or would call us back so we called the direct line on the card. On our second attempt, the field manager (I think that was the title) answered and was amazing. He finalized the rental and we were on the road in no time. Equipment was stellar and the move went without a hitch. This is our second rental in the last 45 days and we plan to do it again 1 or 2 more times. Thank you for salvaging the situation.
