The only thing I didn't like was that you're charged a rental fee and rental charge so no renting a pickup isn't 19.95.

Let me start by saying the only reason I have rated this location as a below average rating instead of poor is because of how hard the worker truly tried to help us. I had reserved a 20ft truck with an appliance dolly and 3 dozen blankets for 48hr rental previously online and after booking was immediately sent an email stating that due to availability I would have to travel to this location instead of the preferred I had selected. I questioned this since the website had listed the preferred point of pickup as available for the selected equipment, but figured things happen and I will just pick the equipment up at the new location about 14 miles further away. Unfortunately when I arrived on the requested date the truck was not ready for pickup and I was informed that due to demand they could not rent me a truck for 48hrs. After lengthy discussions with the manager and the person helping me at the front desk the work around we came up with was to cancel my previous reservation and start a new one. This allowed them to cancel the truck reservation as a local rental and enter it as a one way rental allowing me to keep it for longer than 24hrs. I was still allowed to drop it off at my preferred drop off point (still local), which by the way always does an amazing job. This whole process took over an hour to get straight and could have very easily been avoided if the computer system even remotely did its job confirming my request to what was actually available. I do not blame the people working at this location for any of this issue, they worked very hard to accommodate me during an extremely hectic moving day. They were friendly and the truck and equipment were clean, in great shape, and performed exactly as required. The flaw in the system was definitely booking online and placing faith that everything would be ready as requested. My suggestion is to always call and book directly with the location you intend on utilizing, it could save you from a massive headache on moving day.

I reserved a 10' truck at a much closer location to my house on Sat eve (May 5, 2018). I received a phone call Sunday morning stating I had to pick up a truck at a location about 15 miles away due to the closer location being closed. They comped me a 15' truck but told me I would have to pay for the extra miles when I said I was not going to be responsible for the extra cost in miles as it was not my fault the much closer location was closed. I was literally told, 'you can have one or the other (bigger truck or miles), you can't have both.' What kind of customer service is that for a company the size of U-Haul?? I am thankful for the bigger truck, yes. But I should not have been responsible for the extra miles either. I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service as far as the extra 30 miles I had to drive due to the original location being closed. I should not have been able to reserve the truck at closer location if it was going to be closed. The website even gave me the option of picking it up via my mobile phone. This was probably the WORST experience overall that i had with UHaul, from my reservation not being correct, rude customer service representatives at the location on both pick up and drop off. To the fact that i got charged incorrectly and then the individual wouldn't fix it.

I was overcharged by $87 dollars for no reason. I would not recommend to anyone. This is not fair to provide a customer with an estimate that is $87 too low. I cannot find any valid reason for the overcharge.

I was HIGHLY UPSET, I rented a uhaul for one location and when my husband got there the employee told him the reservation wasnt at that location, clearly I knew which location it was being I had the confirmed email. My husband then had to travel to another uhaul location. When I called the location where I made the reservation and asked the woman why she told my husband the reservation wasn't at that location when it was, her response was. That truck is broke down. Which she lied and didnt say that to my husband. Needless to say because I reserved a certain amount of miles at the location Literally around the corner from my home my husband couldnt get the miles we needed for the truck. Therefore we wasnt able to do everything we needed to do. This is the SECOND TIME uhaul has screwed me over in a two month period. I will never rent from them again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first location RUINED it......never again...

Calling directly to the property was terrible. One girl didn’t know anything, shouting questions to others instead of putting me on hold. And it seems like she was giving someone her phone number (flirting). Anyway we got disconnected and when I called back I got a call center agent who was professional and knowledgeable.
