Over priced! Charging by the mile within the same county is ridiculous. Almost $200 for 4 hours of usage plus refueling cost. Could’ve hired a moving company for about the same cost.
HOWARD BThe lady who checked me in was very rude and disrespectful . She has horrible customer service skills. She either would not or could not answer any questions I had about the process, she kept telling me I had to call U-Haul because they did not teach her certain things . I will never, ever rent another vehicle from there again.
BOBBY DUpon check in, the truck didn’t have my blankets, furniture movers, hand trucks or the appliance dolly I rented online. The young lady checking me in had to locate the items I needed…which took a while. This location was not organized at all. This location didn’t have all the items on hand that I rented online and had to modify my reservation at pick-up and give me a credit for the items they could not provide. The truck itself was very loud and sounded like it had muffler issues. When I returned the truck there was nothing posted about where to return the keys either. No lockbox that said “U-Haul keys here”. Overall, this wasn’t the best experience.
Amy CThe drop off location was out of business when I called customer service they informed me that the location was still active to drive there and that not be the case. The next location I was sent to was closed and had to call and finally got ahold of someone that informed me to just drop the trailer. I called customer services again and they told me the first location had actually moved so wonder why the first person I talked to didn’t know this so a lot of driving around and a lot of frustration.
