Manager (Christal B.) of location was great. I will use this location for all future needs. The corporate store in Rio Rancho could learn a few things from the Carpenters, mainly how to provide good customer service!
This is a lousy location to expect persons renting large trucks to be able to park them. Small outside the fence parking on a major traveled roadway (very dangerous) for after business hours drop off. Get a bigger lot! Maybe extend your hours of operation. Closed at 4;30pm on a Saturday. Come on MAN! Major issues with the 24/7 truck share at this location. Business didn't even know the truck was being returned. Right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Had to call an emergency contact number posted on a perimeter fence to get guidance on what to do with truck key. Ended up having to go back on a Sunday, when they opened and turn in key. Ridiculous. No padlock provided to leave key in truck and didn't even have a key drop (secure) box. Received a follow-up call from a gal named Crystal (VERY RUDE!! and NEEDS to be terminated from customer service work). Moving is stressful and almost the first words out of her mouth were "Where's the f**kin key". I worked 5 hours to unload a truck in excessive temperatures and the added stress of returning equipment and seeing that the truck had fuel; etc. and I as a paying customer get treated like that from Crystal. I will not use this Uhaul location in the future and will not recommend it to family and friends. So, for the next customer...........GET RID of Crystal.

I finally got on the road to destination, before I was half way I got email and phone call asking when I was going to return the rentals, still had 2 days left on contract, do took off half a day to unload and return rental s, made me feel rushed.
I wish there was a no smoking policy. I have a tendency to get headaches with cigarette smoke or a strong smell of it. Turning the A/C on high helped quite a bit but the smell was still there. Besides that, everything was wonderful.
The website direction did not take me to correct location. I did all the online asked on line including early check in and it still took more the 30 mins to check in and get the trailer. I was also charged for insurance which I did not purchase. They wanted me to come back to get the refund. They did not know how to refund to my credit card so they have to mail a check.
So easy to work with and so helpful. Thanks for all your assistance ????

people who rent frequently should be able to be processed more quickly. You used to retain address and license information which sped up the process. I rent 3-5 times per month and it always takes 15 - 20 minutes.

I called on 1/29/2020 to get pricing for a 20ft uhaul. I spoke with Becky and gave me a price of $85.23 she said that was including tax and mileage. I had given her the address we were going to. The price inwas charged was the price I was given for picking up in rio Rancho new mexico and dropping off in Albuquerque I'm not sure why I was over charged $30 over the guaranteed price i was given. I recommend in the future not giving definite prices its not a good feeling to look in your acct and see more pulled out then what you were told you would be charged.

I dropped the truck off Sunday afternoon, the person there said everything was good and then they tried to charge me a 4 day late fee because that person didn't check the truck in. After calling customer service Cody called me and he refunded me for the late fee. Thank you Cody.
More knowledge training on software. When I went in on Monday, the gentleman had to keep asking for help from the other more knowledgeable person. This lack of knowledge happened to me with Uhaul in the past at the Texico New Mexico location. It slowed things down. On the self serve check in on my app, a picture of my drivers license was optional, but when I came to pick up the truck on Wednesday, the staff person, (different from Monday and very knowledgeable), needed my license to photograph. This seemed to defeat the optional part on the check in app, where I only entered my drivers license number. In other words, the bricks and mortar defeated the optional part of the app self serve check in, costing more time. (Read "The Speed of Trust" by Steven M.R. Covey, then make the app seamless with the bricks and mortar). Either make the photo optional in the bricks and mortar or mandatory in the app, but make them match). Please don't call me and have me repeat this. it is just an observation and you can take it for what it is worth, to improve your business or not.
