The owner had a sign on the doot when we arrived to drop off our truck saying be back at 3pm. He never arrived till 330. Then stood outside talking to a friend while we waited. Finally talked to us and said he can't do the refund as his wife does them. She will have to do it another day. Its been a week and still havent recieved it. We called 2 days ago and he said the same thing. Still no refund. Definitely would not reccommend this location as the refund should be done immediately.

The truck I needed wasn't available so I was given the next size up for same price. When I received the bill, I was charged the bigger price I was not impressed!

We rented a 10 Ft cube truck and my daughter went in and the clerk showed her an electronic fuel gauge. Her dad went to the truck and there was below 7/8 of a tank. He went in to speak to the clerk about the condition of the truck. She was on the phone, she placed her hand over the phone and dad asked if it was roadworthy, as the brakes were squeaking and the outside of the truck box was all dented and smashed in and the truck seemed to shimmy when moving. The clerk told him that it was roadworthy and he then indicated to the clerk that the gas showed about 7/8 of a tank. She told him it may take a minute to rise up and that it was full. She then waved him out the door and continued talking on the phone. We put 13 miles on the truck. I put gas in it and we returned the truck. The next day my daughter received the invoice, and there was a charge of 33.90 plus tax for fuel. There is no way that 13 miles would consume over 45 in gas. I called on Oct 31 and the clerk INSISTED that the truck was full when it left, I argued the fact that it should not use $45 in gas for 13 miles. The dad called and again was told by her it was full when it left, he then spoke to the manager, he said he knew nothing about the situation and would have to check into the situation. Again, it was mentioned about the condition of the truck, and the manager said that is why it is recommended not to take the truck on the highway, We have yet to hear from the manager. I am seriously considering contacting the Better Business Bureau as I have since read reviews on the web. I guess I should have read them before I rented from the UHaul Ganong Self Storage location. Pretty much all reviews are extremely poor.

I called the number on my email confirmation to request to keep the truck 1 more day and I was told yes. I got a call the next morning asking to bring the truck back. I finished moving then I dropped the truck off. Also I never received the information about putting the gas back in for how much based on the gas gage. I used just over a quarter of a tank and I put 50 at first and that didn't do it. I put 20 more on and it had over 3/4 of a tank. I didnt get rembursed olgir over filling the tank. When I received my bill via email I was so shocked about how much it was. I was told the insurance was only 15 but it was actually 45. I was not told about the free storage unit for a month. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS LOCATION AGAIN. HORRIBLE.

Although this was not the pick up location for which I originally made the reservation the people at this location were very good.

I was told there was a quarter of a tank of gas in the uhaul when I got it. There was actually less than this, there was less than an eighth of a tank. I called the location and they said to 'bring a gas receipt' when I came in because they were too busy to talk on the phone about it because there were '3 customers standing in front of her'. I forgot to get a gas receipt so I didn't bother bringing it up again.

OH PLEASE. you fucked up my reservation three times, left me without a truck on moving day, and affected more than 50 people by sheer incompetence. I ate hundreds of dollars in cancellation fees, lost my moving crew, and had to do it myself. Fuck UHAUL. I'll never rent from you again, rather load up a wagon and walk it down the highway. Incompetent fucks.

I booked a truck for pickup at Hickey Rd. Then was called and told I had to go to Marr Rd in Rothesay, then in the day of moving I ended up having to go to Ganong plaza. When I got there they didn't even have the truck I requested and I had to get a van. Very poor experience overall

Didn't expect such a horrible service from U-Haul and its dealer. I have been charged for something which I even did not use. I requested the Dealer to cancel the Order but instead he marked my Order as "Complete" and also charged me for "missing items" which are actually in their possession. And worst thing, even after 1 week, Customer service is taking me for spin, no-one is willing to take the ownership and solve the issue.

After being confirmed of reservation the office was closed and the reservation was never at that location. We lost 3 hours to find a possible location. There was no assistance in setting up the tow dolly and very unprofessional handling of the whole affair. Would not. Goose uhaul again ..... very disappointing Dr David Cadoch 514-463-8200

The trucks and building smelled like smoke. The lady running the spot was inside the building smoking. Yes she was nice but also very rude when we got to the area telling me our truck was not there and "what do you want me to do about it" I'm a pretty played back person. But during a lot of stress and anxiety having to pick up and move in a weekend where I expect my truck I ordered to be there and then telling me that I HAVE to call the 1888 number not her ... you know... customer service. I had to and the poor guy at the end of the phone had to listen to me angry and frantic trying to find something else. The gentlemen was very nice though. Anyways all and all it was a horrible experience on top of an already stressful situation. I did however use another u haul area a few months back and it was great.

Truck was not available for pick up time requested because the last user did not return it on time. Location owner was helpful but had to wait 2 hours for another truck that had the check engine light on and the cab of the vehicle was very dirty. I have rented from U Haul before but this was the worst experience I have had with this company

Debit machine was down when I went to pay. I had to pay cash and they didn't have change, so I had to wait until the next day to get my change. Other then that, it was a great experience.

I received an invoice for $333 as an outstanding balance. Due to all my issues with this rental Devon at your contact center advised my km would be waived. I was at this location to confirm, during my rental, during business hours and this location was closed. I also brought it back during business hours at this location and it was closed. My original location was Glass Guys, Rothesay Avenue. I got a call from Deven at Uhaul stating they had no trucks and I would have to drive out to the General store at the YSJ airport. When i got there, they had no trucks. Called and found a van at Ganong Plaza that would work. Please have someone email me as I was told my km's would be waived due to my issues.
