Team - I am very disappointed with the U-HAUL I was provided. It was the dirtiest truck I have ever rented. The seats had some white hair (I think dog hair). The storage space was covered with mud and some white powder (seemed like some construction material). Overall - It was a disaster to clean this up before I could load my mattress in the U-haul

Do not use this location. The location hours start at 8 am. We had a reservation for 10 am. No employees showed up to work until 10:30. The person who eventually did show up, did not apologize for being late and was not the person who manages the Uhauls.

The van we rented was quite new - it still had that “new car” smell. The ease of reserving a van and picking it up was great. This is the fourth time my family has rented a moving vehicle here.

The owner was rude and called me sweetie - yuck!. I was required to travel 30 miles to Salem NH on the busiest travel day in the Northeast vs Nashua NH, 8 miles from home and where my new furniture was. I was charged an additional $161.32 and they claim that they did not charge me, which they did - terrible and dishonest and no one at UHaul cares. I contracted a 17 foot and was given a 26 foot - this is all wrong! Never again - treated like I was so lucky to be able to apy 603.52 for a one day rental when quoted $500 - completely outrageous!

It took a lot of work to get this location. My adventure started with a call to Lawrence, ma uhaul which was transferred to a call center got set up with a reservation. Later that night a had a voicemail that my unit would be ready at a location 45 miles away in Salem, Ma. I went through three people trying to get this changed. So thank goodness this location in Salem, NH which was only 2 miles away had what I was looking for. It's to bad they don't use postal zip codes.

Answer your phone when customers call instead of having to leave messages during business hours, don't make additional charges to someone checking account without contacting them first and letting them know what the charges are for .

I had my reservation through the app and I was finishing up my registration when Michael Barrett showed up and told me that I can finish the process with him in the office. I told him I want the same deal I signed up for meaning $29.99 plus .79 cents per mile and I had selected “no coverage” for the rental. He assured me the same rate. When I received the bill I saw a $14 coverage charge on my bill which I was not informed about nor I had requested. I feel like the guy wanted commission for doing this transaction from his location instead of having it done online but he screwed me over $14 without letting me know even though I had made sure that there would be no coverage needed for the rental when I made the reservation. To futur renters, avoid this place as this guy has a car dealership and seems to be interested in adding things which u don’t request as most car dealers do..if the guy refunds my money then I will change the review otherwise be aware people. Be very Aware!!!!

The person who was managing the place was incredible. I was running a bit late and couldn't pick up the trailer before closing. I called to ask if he could take the payment info and that if i could come later to pickup the trailer. He was kind enough o say, Oh don't worry i can wait till you get here. Thank you for the incredible service.

wrong equipment reserved, reserved an auto carrier and he said all he had was a dolly he walked away and told me to call 800uhaul. I found an auto carrier at uhaul on main st in salem nh. after wasting my entire morning... the trailer poppped off the ball while loading my car and did damage to the tailgate on my brand new truck. the ball tensioner on the trailer was covered in rust and thetine that holds it was damaged. I feel that u-haul should be responsible for the damage to my truck!

We were told to pick up our truck at 9am, and no one was there to give us our key to the truck until 11am. We had a very stressful move out day, because we were so pushed back on time and schedule due to that.

First, someone who actually works as a UHAUL rep should have been there during stated hours of operation to check out the truck for me. I had made a reservation a couple of days prior to picking it up, so they were expecting me. What should have been a 10 minute interaction turned into a 30 minute interaction while trying to track down an employee of the facility who had left for the day. Once we identified the truck, it was clean, no flaws. HOWEVER, the gas tank was only 1/4 full! I had to travel a distance to find a Mobil station so I could use my gas card. Thus, my schedule was shot to hell while people waiting for me to show up were wondering what happened. Then, once I completed my move, turned in the truck at the other end, they had no record of me officially checking out the truck nor that their center was to receive it! The last thing a person needs when they are packing up and moving their life to another corner of the state is to have major customer service screw ups. Come on folks, you can do better than that Salem, NH :(

I rented a dolly and it was not provided. I have emailed Uhaul and no response. I have called and the phone is turned off. Also, I rented the vehicle for 19.9 and for some reason was charged 39.95?? As there is no one to talk about the billing I am disputing the bulk of the charge until someone contacts me.

The truck was not cleaned when I received it. It took the clerk an hour to do the paperwork because the person that does the uhaul at that depot was not around. The had the trailer blocked in, I had to attacht he trailer my self. I had to purchase a pad lock because the one on the truck was locked to a handle and they did not have a key. This was the worst experience I have had with uhaul and may consider not using uhaul next time. I think a discount on this bill is justified.

It was extremely hard to contact anyone at any location. I was told to call the area manager, who never called me back with many attempts on my part. Then, the charge was doubled, then it was reversed. I feel the communication is very, very poor.
