The app to check the equipment in is suspect, it freezes at a certain point and you can't complete the invoice which leads to other charges. There has to be a better way for customers to be relieved of these extra charges. When the apps works , it's good, when it's not it's frustrating .....paul B.

I was over charged $200 for less than 30 miles & 2 days. I was given a key & told the truck number & where to locate the number on the truck, but I had to find the truck on the street in the next block. I Was asked to take photo of mileage to check me out. Uhaul falsely advertised the height of the truck by failing to note that the doorway limits the height of an object being moved. This was discovered within 1 hour and the truck was returned unused. Rather than provide a full refund, as one would expect, uhaul management determined that a reduced payment was required. Very disappointing. Should have been no charge and uhaul needs to reflect door heights in its advertising.Robert M.

This was the 3rd location I was sent to after being told that my original pick up place did not have the truck we had entered into a contract with. I was promised a $50 reduction in fees which did not come. The discount was known to the person at the Commerce location and he acknowledged it. Overall, it will be a very long long time before I will use a U-Haul again.Melva B.
I was charged for gas and I had over the amount I started with, the guy lied and I have pictures to prove it. Could find the location to drop off, so called this location. A man answers the phone , so I asked i need to drop off a truck. He stated I can't drop off the truck . So I ended up calling uhaul waiting an hour on the phone and made them call the location and they say I can drop off the truck. So since all that time was wasted I get charged anther day. When arriving to the location I parked outside went inside, a young man said I need to take pictures of the mileage and gas, so I go back outside, he comes outside yelling at me saying with his pants hanging bellow his underwear hickeys all over his neck very unprofessional, â€œI need to move the truck or I'm gonna charge $80â€ so I responded â€œdo what you have to you guys have been wasting my time beginning by telling me I can't return the truck hereâ€ I don't see why these location is so horrible in customer service skills. This location need attention. I've rented uhauls 10 times this year alone and never had this horrific experience.Tricia C.
The location did not have everything I had reserved online. I had to look for another location to get the furniture dolly and the blankets missing in my first order. This was very inconvenient and frustrating. The U-Haul site phone number never answer. I had to look for local number to get someone to help me. Luckily the site I found was able to help. Don't allow poorly trained 3rd party vendors to lend out trucks. No one explained to me that I'd get charged $40 for a quarter tank of gas. The truck was also poorly maintained, the check engine light was on and the suspension was very bad. Definitely felt unsafe driving that truck.Tim M.
This was my first time renting a U-Haul truck and it wasn't good at all. The customer service was trash at best. They didn't explain anything about the process of getting a U-Haul or what the expectations were when returning it. They didn't do a walk around check on the trucks condition picking up or dropping off either. This also isn't the type of place you'd expect when you're looking for a moving van. It's a laptop on a makeshift shelf in the back corner of a convenience store. The truck they gave me was functioning but not the safest it could be. The steering alignment is off a considerable amount whereas it's difficult to keep the truck steady on the highway. That was scary as hell because it started raining. Also the dial to raise or lower the dashboard brightness is missing so if you're driving at night....Good Luck..Never again in my life will I go to this location or recommend it to anyone. This place should not be allowed to operate.Justice J.

I rented a uhaul from this store in February 2020 I was given a receipt and all was ok. I rented again in July 2020 and was not given a receipt. I was overcharged on the 2nd rental $28.00 for a "Safemove" or "Safe Protection" I was not asked if I wanted this, nor explained what this was for on picking up the truck. When I returned the truck and asked why I was charged this, the attendant gave me the phone number for UHaul Traffic 210.731.2805 to ask about any refund but she was unable to refund my money. I dialed soon after. They were closed and did not answer the phone it was after 8 pm on Friday July 24, 2020. When I called about the fee on Monday July 27, 2020 the woman answering told me she could not refund me for the "insurance fee" I agreed to and had already used. I assured her I had not agreed nor was I informed about it. She said I should have read my email. UHaul should have given me a paper receipt or advised me to open my email for hidden fees!martha R.
The truck was across the street, when he delivered the vehicle to me, he just pointed it out, gave me the key, and sent me on my way. He didn't check the truck to see if it was clean, and it wasn't. Marajuna seeds we're in the cup holder and the cabin was not cleaned.WESLEY J.
spot was small and congested. returned the truck early because it was a horrible trip, truck bounced around like it needed shocks or struts. Worst ride ever. Will never use U-HAUL again.Deborah R.
