I reserved a 20ft truck and less than 30 min (while I was driving to pick up the truck) I got a call the truck I reserved was no longer available. I had movers arranged and 30 min NOT enough time to reschedule. I was left no choice but to rent the 15ft truck that was available and now I don't have all of my belongings due to having to leave things behind. The truck was not big enough. I am disabled and in a wheelchair, and down to one income due to my husband being a police officer and taking his own life. I don't have the money to rent a truck again. The truck I picked up also had no gas. I didn't appreciate having to gas up immediately. I am so upset about not having all of my things and being forced to rent a smaller truck. Just unacceptable.

The employee said this was set to a one-way local drop-off at any location. I dropped it off at a local location, and they said no, that's not the case, and that you must return it to the original location from which you picked it up. I would not spend over an hour returning it to the original location and another $60 in additional mileage. The drop-off location charges me ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-TWO DOLLARS and marks it WRONGDROPOFF on the receipt. Thanks employee for lying to me and being grossly overcharged on what should've been a $50 rental. Total ass from U-Haul.
