This location added charges/miles to my contract. After refusing to give me a receipt when dropping off the truck.

The van we rented was filthy. Had not been washed for God knows how long. Tried to use the windshield fluid & wipers to clean the windows, but the wipers were old, work out & did not work. I had to use my own windex and paper towels to clean the windows. The inside was also dirty & had to take out the rubber liner & shake it out before loading my stuff. Also, I could not leave my car in their lot, and had to park on a vey dirty side street about 1/2 mile away. Other u-hauls state that there is no on-site parking, but this one did not. When I returned the van 5 hours later no one checked it over or cared to help me. The one rep, Waldo, took the keys & said that someone would check it back in within a day or two & we would get a final bill via email. I did get a final bill later that afternoon & I was charged for 2 days rental. I am fighting that issue. When I called the phone number several times there was no answer & no voicemail access. When I finally got thru I was told that I had to contact U-Haul via email to complain. I would have been better off renting from another location.
