It was very difficult to find the van based on the website directions (no specifics about the parking lot or location therein). The usability of the website (because the app doesn't do this directly) is slow and awkward. Registration took a long time, then I was given the wrong code for the wrong box and I had to call in to get the right one. I was warned by the previous comments that this had happened and I assumed would have been corrected. It was not. All in all the most difficult "share" service I've ever used.

This location is s disaster. The address is listed as 2500 24 th St, but the entrance is on 23rd St. There’s no signage, which creates confusion. Once inside and a vehicle identified, the key box did not open. An associate on the phone had to generate a new code. The whole experience was a disaster. Highly unpleasant. The fact that it was cold and rainy added to the misery.

My u-haul experience was absolutely terrible, and I would certainly not recommend it to even my worst enemy. It was a self pickup option. To begin, the booking was incredibly stressful because any time you attempted to go in and edit your reservation, it would create a duplicate. Once I was able to resolve the reservation problem and went to pick up my truck, a whole other slew of issues appeared. The area in which the truck is located has incredibly spotty cellphone reception, causing me to have to circle the car in search of a signal throughout the entire process. After far too long, I managed to get far enough into the process to get the code for the key box. Which was wrong. After being rejected about 5 times, I got on the phone to call customer service. No one could help me and I was transferred and put on hold for 15 minutes, during which time I had to stand in the cold and wait. I never got a hold of customer service, and by the grace of god thought to try a few iterations of the code they had given me, finally getting into the key box by rearranging the last two digits. By this time the app had crashed out and marked my pickup service as completed without allowing me to actually finish the process and there was no way to go back in and edit. This meant that the mileage and fuel gauge were not recorded by the app. At this point I was already a half hour into my rental and running late for my moving appointments, which caused an incredible amount of undue stress. The rest of the move went fine, and the vehicle was in good condition, however, when I went to return it and began checking out in the app, I saw that they had charged me an extra $350 for a 'weekly rental fee' when I had had the car for less than three hours and was quoted $40. I checked the box that said "I do not agree with these charges" and left a comment in the section, but no one at Uhaul ever reached out to me. When I received my receipt, I was charged an outlandish $500 for this rental in total. I called customer service, and was met with more transfers, being put on hold, and finally a dispute filed. I have been told that a manager will get back to me within the next 48 hours, but am not holding my breath. I am incredibly disappointed with Uhaul's customer service and my entire experience here.

This was my first experience and it was awful. The combination numbers assigned to lock boxes were/are backward. I was assigned vehicle A, but was given a combo number that opened vehicle B’s lockbox. I tried to explain this in the chat to a service rep but after 15 min was tossed to call some number. I cancelled my trip because I wasn’t going to make it to my destination on time. It does not appear I was charged so that is a bonus that at least that worked.
