Basically, this is a U Haul service at a Valero Gas Station. It is not well equipped to deal with any minor cleaning needs. It expects customers to clean up everything including a few crumbs. The cashiers are not knowlegable about the price of the blankets also. I have been to many other U Haul Services. I definitely would not recommend this location to anyone.

We also weren’t informed that our reservation at the initial place didn’t have the u-haul because someone had extended their rental. We were uninformed and had to go to another u-haul location because of it. This whole experience was not seamless and stressful because others didn’t do their job.

This isn't at all directed at this location but to UHaul Customer Service. When I called UHaul's Main number to see if I could extend my rental by one day, I was told that it wouldn't be a problem and I'd continue to get charged the same rate. When I called in again the next day to see what the latest was I could deliver the UHaul back later that day, the woman on the phone told me it was no problem to extend the delivery until 10pm, but if I end up wanting any additional days, it was going to cost double. She then mentioned that anytime someone wants additional days added, people have to pay double for the cost of the rental. I was surprised because this was not mentoned to me when I went to extend by one day the day before. There should be some clarification with employees on what the deal is because I ended up being charged more than what I bargained for because it wasn't mentioned to me that I'd pay double. Thank you!

wind shield and side mirrors were very dirty rest of truck clean. the major issue is a bad ignition switch that you must be just right in turning engine on. It needs to be replace. Jose, the gas station mgr, was very helpful and one excellent employee

U-Haul customer service and site employees were mean and didn’t do anything to help for U-Haul mistakes. I reserved a 20’ truck 8am pickup a month in advance so I can make sure that I have the truck on my moving day. But guess what? I received a call 2 days before my moving day that the truck is not available on the location where I reserved (Milpitas) and I can pick it up 11am at San Jose site which won’t work on my plan. So, they transferred me to Santa Clara for 8am guaranteed pickup but 15’ only. I said that’s fine. Moving day. I went to Santa Clara U-Haul exactly 8am to pickup the truck. Guess what? Truck is not available and the attendant was mean. She said that I have no choice but to pick the truck in San Mateo or Oakland. Since I didn’t have any more choices but to pick it up in San Mateo.

NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE!!! I gave them another chance after a first time bad experience in 2016...and STILL WORST SERVICE of any UHAUL rental place atound this area...Bee’s Service on 37th and El camino Real FAR SUPERIOR to the ownership at VALERO

I returned the truck a day early. The location is not well marked and parking is not marked. The clerk did not provide me a written receipt, citing an issue with the computer system and promised to email me, this was around noon today. It is now 6pm, the location is closed and I have no email. I became concerned when a customer behind me inquired about the vehicle I just returned and the clerk said it was already reserved for today!?! So, without a receipt, this location could easily rent this vehicle again and attempt to make me either liable for damage or loss of equipment or even attempt fraud by trying to charge me for additional miles that I didn't use. This is not a good system and leaves me very vulnerable to less than honest vendors. I hope that isn't the case...but I'll have to wait an hope that I get a receipt in the next few days and that I am not charged for additional costs.....

You are asking all of the wrong questions. I went to this location with a mobile check in, what a joke. Thank God for Jose. Your online system sucks, every aspect of it sucks. Who did the QA on this garbage and who’s in charge of customer success. Jose felt extremely bad helped me cancel the existing reservation I’m order to rent the same exact truck almost an hour later Jose ???? U-Haul online check in ??thanks Jose for saving the day!

The Van I had was great and the person at this location was nice and very helpful. The only problem I had was with the reservation and the way UHaul has it set up online. After figuring that I had to cancel the reservation and then obtain the Van as a Walk In, everything went well, I was not able to obtain any help from customer service with my cell phone, after spending 45 minutes trying to do so. If it was not for what the person at this location said I should do, I would have left in a very bad mood.

I went to the wrong location today and spent an hour figuring out that my reservation was not at the location I requested. This also added about 10 miles to my rental fee because it was out of the way. Someone from UHaul should have contacted me to let me know why they were not able to let me pick up my rental from the location I reserved it for. Some confusion also could have been avoided if the salesperson who called to confirm the reservation would have said the address of where my truck would be.
