We were "assisted" by Laura. She had a very rude and poor attitude. She was extremely unpleasant. Even until the very end of our interaction she was ridiculously rude and , eg., I asked which truck was mine that I just rented (since there were about 8 or 9 in close proximity) she stated" I dont know somewhere out there". Unbelievable to say the least. I will never use or recommend Uhaul EVER AGAIN. I am sure there are cameras at this location that can be reviewed to collaborate with my story.

This may be long - but there is a true story that should be known. Sadly, I had to go to another UHAUL dealership last week and not use RED CARPET like I always do - as I was in need of a large 26 foot truck and RED CARPET already had them booked. In dealing with the "other" dealership, I was forced to accept a truck that had a lot of issues and they didn't have any other trucks I could switch out. The driver door trim was broken so there was an irritating noise that happened for the entire 500+ miles we incurred. Also wrong with the truck was a rattling dashboard, which when I returned 10 minutes after renting it, the yard associate quickly wedged paper towels into the dash to remedy the issue. Why am I telling you all of this? Because this is not the kind of service I get when I rent with Tom Callahan at RED CARPET. If I ever had an issue with anything I rented at RED CARPET (which I haven't) - Tom would go the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. He wouldn't let me drive a truck with issues, nor would it come to me dirty. Tom is the guy who will mop it out and clean it up for the next customer, should the prior customer be inconsiderate enough to return it dirty. In the future, I will try to secure reservations with Tom sooner so I don't have to go elsewhere. I really appreciate his professionalism. He should be teaching classes. Thank you, Mark Shelton

The customer service representative at the location wasn't very helpful when I explained an issue that I had experienced with a switching of the pick-up/drop-off location. It was eventually resolved on the back end, though, when the contract was finalized.

i didn’t like the customer service. he was like scolding at me when i was unintentionally cutting the line. I didn’t think there was actually a customer in front of me as they were sitting comfortably talking with each other. I definitely didn’t like the attitude

Better communication from customer service personnel. I was told over the phone to return truck by 3 on the same day of rental but when I picked it up I was told to bring it back with the 24 hour period which eased my mind. I will be returning next weekend to rent out a smaller vehicle for items I couldn't take or wouldn't take with me this trip.

Tom Callahan is such a PRO - I can call in and within a minute, he makes a reservation for me if I am on the fly and can't get to a computer. Needed a truck on Friday - he was on it - Then had to call again to reserve another truck for Monday - Once again, Tom made it happen within a minute. Couldn't be happier with Red Carpet/Uhaul - but even moreso, thankful for the diligence and professionalism I get when working with Tom. Happy New Year Everyone!! Mark Shelton Phoenix Agrotech

I wanted to rent a furniture dolly. Was told to go to the Baker Fairview Self Storage. Got there. Was told they didn’t have such equipment. Guy at the service counter was worthless. Had to go to red carpet self storage. I didn’t understand why uhaul would direct me to the baker one in the first place. Prepaid for the baker storage, had to pay again for the red carpet. Will never use uhaul again.

Tom was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I didn’t appreciate having to crawl on the ground to hook up chains to the trailer or carry pads out to the truck or or hoist the utility dolly into the truck. I thought that was something Uhaul did.

Every experience I have ever had that U-Haul has been horrible. But this one takes the cake! I can't even begin to describe how horrible it was. In fact I'm so irritated I don't even want to go into all of the details anymore. You guys are a horrible company and the only reason that I use you is because you're basically the only moving company in my area. If I could write you a zero I would. You guys have absolutely positively the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Every time I have to call you guys I'd read it because I know it's going to be horrible from beginning to end. I was actually surprised this time because I thought I was going to have a great experience until I got to some makeshift trailer on a RV parking lot to pick up my U-Haul. Inside the trailer with some jerk of a manager sitting in an office chair watching TV. I place my ID and credit card down on the counter he takes one look at it and goes nope the names have to match. I explained to him that I informed the customer service rep who made the reservation earlier that day that I had a temporary debit card and asked her if this would be an issue Once I arrived to pick up my truck. She informed me that it wouldn't be an issue as long as I had two forms of ID. The man absolutely refused to continue with my reservation. I immediately called your customer service Department to find a solution. My reservation was for 2 p.m. I was on the phone for two and a half hours when a customer service rep finally told me that I could put down a $100 deposit in order to rent my moving truck. I was Furious! I cannot believe the manager at the site where I was picking up the truck did not inform me of this at the very beginning. He made up all sorts of excuses as to why he didn't tell me he wasn't helpful in any way shape or form. He was completely unprofessional when I drop the vehicle off. I was still inside of the vehicle in a parking space with the vehicle on talking on my phone and he approaches the driver side door and opens up the door and it mediately starts demanding for me to get out and giving me instructions on what I need to do to turn it in. I grab the door handle and slam the door shut and locked it. Screaming at him that he should never come up to a girl who is all by herself in a vehicle. I was on the phone! The vehicle was still on! I don't know what his problem is but he was a complete jerk and Incredibly unprofessional! I want a full refund of my purchase!
