I ordered a 15 foot truck ahead of time online and went through the steps to be eligible for fast pickup. I requested a truck at a manned location on Santa Rosa Ave. The time and truck I selected was available according to the site a day ahead of time (I verified this by selecting the same truck and pretending to want it the same day and found that times were greyed out. I did this TO MAKE SURE that the system was working. I then finalized my initial request for Saturday)My pickup time was 9:30am on a Saturday (the second of the month). I arrived at the location at 8:45 to find that the location only had one cashier working on the weekend which also fell on a big moving time (1st & 15th). I was not alone. The line would've extended out of the door if people hadn't created a LARGE curved line in the store. The lone cashier continually lamented having to service paying customers and made sure to let everyone know that they were a burden. The cashier then hollered back through a door to what I assume was a breakroom and said, "As soon as you come back I'm leaving. I don't even care. I'm going to take my truck to the shop". Sounds like she's unhappy with her job. Having completed all of the prerequisites for fast pickup, I walked to the front and waited for an opportunity to inform the *professional* cashier that I was ready to pick up the vehicle. "Yeah, that doesn't do anything. That just means that we don't have to ask for your ID information." She said. I asked what needed to be done since the site said that I had completed the required steps for fast pickup. "You need to download the app and do the same thing on there, them come back up" "Ok" I said, feeling hopeless at this point. I downloaded the app. Spent 20 minutes trying to form an account since whoever U-Haul hired as an App Dev/Director of IT has clearly not tested normal app functions or communicated with each other. What do I mean? Well, when I entered my info to create an account it lagged and wouldn't let me finalized the account creation. I had to renter my info after closing the app several times before it went through. THEN I need to activate my account. But the activation email never came. I waited for 15 minutes. Guess what? I finally got the original activation email AFTER I requested a new one BUT the code didn't work because a new code was generated after I asked for a new one since the old one never came. I then waited 20 minutes until finally, the second code came. No, at this point I had not reached the front of the line. So I finally activate my account and then spent about ten minutes trying to associate my previous order with my new account. Done. I return to the front of the line and the cashier tells me that it's still not sufficient and that I'll need to get back in line. Let's break this down. I followed the instructions for fast pickup and she said I needed the app. I get the app and reach the same point as my

Unfortunately, the location was closing early for the Christmas holidays when I returned the truck. A few days later I received a call from U-Haul saying my vehicle had not been returned. Seems that the location was going to be closed until after New Years and there was no way to contact them. Otherwise - the vehicle was great and the check-out agent was good.

Our pick up time was 11am. We got there at 11am. There were 2 customers ahead of us. There were 2 gentlemen working at the counters. First customer was gone in a short time. The 2nd customer we had to wait over an hour. While the other gentleman at the counter stood there talking. He told us all about how they were the #3 busiest Uhaul center in the country and our wait was nothing compared to everybody everywhere else's wait. At this point we had only been waiting about 10 minutes. We were fine. When it was our turn at 12:10pm, over an hour after we arrived for our 11am pick up, the man at the desk was rude. After the other man stood around talking and talking while we waited for over an hour. I had done online check in to avoid this wait. You even advertise it on your website as "cutting the wait time in half". According to that math had we not done a pre-check in we would have waited 3 hours? They demanded 2 references saying all Uhaul stores did. When I told him that I was at the actual Uhaul store last week and they did not ask for references, his response was "you can go on back over there if you want I don't care". In my reservation I rented a furniture dolly and was not given it or shown to my vehicle. I went back inside and asked him about the dolly and he brought me a hand cart saying there were no furniture dollies and expected me to use that. I told him that it would not work. He told me they did not have furniture dollies and I should drive over to the Uhaul store and have them take it off my bill if that is what I wanted. I asked him to do it right then, that I wasn't going to spend my rental time or miles undoing something I did not do. He got on the phone and called over to take care of it. Funny how that only took 5 minutes and every other thing he did took forever. We finally got out of there around 12:30. That is some customer service you have. I will pay a moving company before I will ever use Uhaul again. You suck that much.

Immediately upon entering the place that was a sensation of calm. The only suggestion I can make that would make this place better would be if they could export that sensation of calm I feel secure I go to they knew they were doing I was in and out of there in record time and I feel confident once I got in the truck and I could drive it and then it would not be damaged like to do it I need to do that I want to thank you so much jim hi Bob or Elly or whatever I don’t know I forgot but anyway I would like to think somebody thank you so much though you have a very excellent you to assist me thank you

The only problem that I have is that I picked up the truck on Saturday morning at 9:30 and returned it the same day at 1:10pm. Because the store is actually closed on Saturday, the clerk and I discussed Picking up the key before he closed on Friday, and his changing me for an 8 hour day on Saturday. However, I've been charged for 2 days of rental. I'd like to go to the store with my bill to dispute it, but West Coast closes at the same time that I get off work and can drive across town to get there.
