This was the frustrating mix up - My truck was not there at the above location when I arrived on time to pick it up (10:00 a.m. as arranged.) I was then told my truck was "waiting" for me across town (20+ minute drive on a crunched day.) When I arrived they told me my reservation had been cancelled because I had not shown up at 7:30-8:30 a.m. "as arranged." I did end up getting a truck there as they fortunately had another one. The situation overall just added quite a bit of stress to what was to be an already very long day.
Double check the equipement properly upon unloading my car one ramp was not stable and left good thing no damage on my car. It will be the passenger ramp. Thank you
Overall, it was a good rental experience. I would like to see all employees ACTUALLY WEARING A MASK (NOT a bandana, hanging off his face while walking to me).
This is another business that cannot maintain a positive working attitude in any of the roles they have. Staff are almost always repugnantly rude, inattentive, absent, clustering in the back in the dark on their phones, avoiding equipment and the public. HORRIBLE BUSINESS. Absentee owners need to fork out better money for hiring an actual manager. Or be forced to close. I hate this location, hate this business and DESPISE coming in here. If staff is reading this, they should be ashamed.
Service was poor !! Truck/Van was unsafe needed rotors or wheel bearings .. my check in time was well over one hour!!!!!!! In order to expedite the ID drivers license photo sequence I offered to disconnect and assist customers with equipment in the yard !!!! Upon completing this thinking the customer service representative was continuing to expedite my transaction!! No he was answering Incoming phone calls !!!! .. completely worst experience with uhaul ever Even the drop off of the equipment took a exorbitant amount of time !!! Like I said!!! after years of using uhaul Over 1000 miles with your equipment !! I had by far the worst experience with your company ever !!! I suggest a area supervisor be stationed in that office !!! I am involved with customer service i know that one bad review takes a lot a lot a lot of positive reviews to correct the bad ... I would lie a complete refund !! ASAP ... Thanks

There needs to be a permanent lot attendant that handles hooking and unhooking exclusively. U-Haul's technology with the photo ID front and back of the ID card is a bunch of BS .. last nights checking into the equipment was absolutely horrible bad.. I actually took my own time and helped unhook peoples vehicles from U-Haul equipment trying to expedite my rental needs And then on top of the three hour check in the truck that I was rented needed mechanical help either brakes rotors or wheel bearings are going out on the truck is very unsafe for an in experienced driver
The manager was great. As I was waiting in line he was dealing with a difficult customer who was rude and disrespectful. He handled himself in a professional manner and I was impressed.
Change the windshield wiper blades it was raining at night and I couldn't see a thing because the wipers just smeared the water around. It made my time with the van miserable. The tire pressure sensor light was also on and it took me a while to be able to see the odometer because the tire pressure pop up wouldn't go away

They were 15 minutes late to open. They forgot to give me any of the equipment I reserved. Also, this was not the location closest to home.
If a customer needs to drive 30 miles just to get a truck (especially when my own town's u-haul office could not), I think the mileage back to my starting point should not count against the free miles offered.

I signed up for the contactless pick up which ended up being not contactless and downright disrespectful. Upon arrival I couldn't find the vehicle and my husband asked the agent for help. The service agent was absolutely awful. I was disrespected and he challenged everything I said I had done. He told me to forget about my â€œonline thingâ€ and go through him. I had to repeat my entire process and he kept messing up. His supervisor had to come over and help but I left the counter feeling very disrespected. My husband had to complete the transaction and was also upset that the guy was so rude and didn't know what he was doing. I had a terrible experience and hope this doesn't happen to others. If you're going to advertise as contactless during a pandemic, please do your best to support the customers who rely on these safety measures.

We had to drive 190 miles round trip to pick up the equipment, then it took almost two hrs to get it at the location. When driver arrived the price was over 50%higher then quote, negotiated down. But the quoted price didn't include â€œrental taxâ€!, another 10+%. And they didn't want to extend the mileage needed from destination, because pickup location was closer to ultimate destination.
I had the worst experience. First I arrived at my pickup location at 7:50am for my 8:00am pickup. I couldn't get the mobile pickup to work so I called customer service for help. I was on the phone for 41 minutes while the lady tried to help. She couldn't and eventually transferred me to a supervisor who let me know the place â€œwas a lost causeâ€ and that my truck hadn't been returned properly. How is that my fault and why is someone not checking that beforehand??? She then gets me a new reservation at another store 15 minutes away and inconveniently located in the opposite direction that I need to go (now I am an hour and 20 mins. behind schedule ). I drive there and get my truck, it had a huge hole in the roof, and it's raining. The inside is soaked in water, I'm not using this truck. After 30 minutes in line I get a new truck and now I am 2+ hours behind schedule. I also had 5 people with me to help with the move which completely inconvenienced their entire day as well. I don't think the $50 refund guarantee is worth all the trouble I went through and I am extremely disappointed. Will never use uhaul for a move ever again.
Probably the most detached and distant staff I've ever worked with. I got impression I was annoying them by coming in to pick up equipment. If there was another large facility within 30 miles of the area I would go out of the way to go elsewhere.
The gas intake to the truck had issues making it difficult to add gas the truck. Went to several filling stations, but always had issues. The truck was dated and old with over 88,000 miles.
