Found a cockroach in the front cab and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a few months. the back part was the only cleanish looking area. Also charged for fuel when i filled the tank to the appropriate amount. Will not be booking through here again.

A little confused about my rental...when booking the lady i booked with said 50kms with my rental...the truck was a US in miles....so thinking maybe an additional 20kms at .69. Should have only been an extra 15.00

The guy at Becker’s was incredibly rude and lazy. DEMANDED I SIGN the contract before even confirming the vehicle mileage, gas, km’s And damage. He then tore up my contract and ignored me for 20 minutes while serving other customers. HE IGNORED ME COMPLETELY. I ended up having to pay 2 movers $50 to cover the extra time they had to wait for me and all because of the guy at the Becker’s store who had a temper tantrum.

Fix your online pickup/drop off or build an app! The online pickup was terrible, share location at pick up would not maintain shared location. At drop off, every time I uploaded a picture of the van interior, the site would refresh and I would need to start over again and could not finish drop off. If you are going to offer online services for pick up/drop off, build an app!

I was charged $73.84 on my credit card when the total was only $33 and some change on the receipt. It would have been a good experience if I was charged the right amount. But now I have to go through the hassle of getting my credit card credited for a mistake that was done by the owner. So next time just ensure that cx is getting charged the right amount.

The person who was supposed to "help" me was extremely rude. He seemed like he hated working there. He kept slamming the papers and the pen. So unprofessional. I never meant someone working for customer service who was that rude. Stay away from this location!

Truck was dirty inside and had oil on the doors. Attendant at the Convenience Store did not seem to care and shrugged his shoulders. Kept waiting well past the due in time and has charged us an extra day, which I have sent an email to the Questions/Comments. Contract # 23167930 should have a credit of $29.95 for the day rental we should not have paid and $25.00 for the cleaning that I had to do before we used it, total credit is $54.95 and this must be addressed in the next 48 hours. I have the option of refusing the entire charge on my credit card until this is resolved.

BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE. Location not helpful at all. We are a company and rented out the van for use(delivery) but we did not use the van. We requested an immediate return within the hour, barely used any mileage(5km). If this was any other place, we would have received a refund as we did not use the service. I dont understand how one can get charged for something they did not even use. The lady on the phone was rude and had an attitude. As a company and manager Uhaul employees should consider better service. This was a horrible experience and we would not use UHaul without improved services. We would not recommend UHaul to any business partners. We would have considered renting 20 + cargo vans from UHaul for our delivery business but not after this experience. Simply ridiculous.

There was some smell in side the van not sure what was it . Maybe some one smoke there . My recommend is to put some airfreshener or something But the gentleman was very nice who help us out ,will give 10/10 to the gentleman Thank you

The self service didn't work out for me. Apparently my driver's license picture wasn't being uploaded. I had to go in the store to rent the truck. Thankfully the store was open that day else it would have been an issue to rent the truck.

While this location is excellent in terms of flexibility of hours, the driver's cabin in the equipment that I rented was filthy and smelled strongly of cigarettes. It would be a much more pleasant driving experience if the cabin was clean and smelled decently.

My experience with this location was fine. However, my overall experience with U-Haul was horrible. I originally booked at the Bullock location in Markham. I was concerned that the person taking my request had poor English and I was not sure that a truck would be available. So we went in person a few weeks prior to the Bullock location (Fine Details) and we were told no worries, we had a truck. The truck was booked for April 30. On April 27, we get a call indicating the truck was no longer available as it would not be returned in time and we should call U-Haul ourselves to find a truck. So much for the customer service. I called D Line on Markham Rd and the gentleman was very kind and assured me they have a truck for April 30 and I received a confirmation email. On April 30, I get a phone call from U-Haul in Brampton two hours before my pick-up time saying the truck is not available and to go to another location on Finch Ave in Scarborough. I call the Markham location and the gentleman explained that the prior renters did not return the truck and they cannot reach them. In the interim, I get a voice mail from U-Haul saying, go to the Markham location and get a bigger truck but it would be due back by 4:00 p.m. I called the Markham location back again. I noted confusion with all the calls. The gentleman asked if I can be back with the truck by 5 pm and I said no. He said he would be unable to give me the bigger truck as he didn't want to have his 5:45 customer without a truck. Another call to U-Haul. Finally confirmed availability of the truck size I needed and I could have it for the time I needed. Overall, a very stressful experience with U-Haul. I will not use them in the future.
