Absolute worst experience I've had with U-HAUL yet. I was supposed to get a 10' truck that was canceled last minute the day before I was supposed to move and they said there was nothing they could do about it. No apologizes or trying to get us another truck. We were just SOL. We thankfully found ONE 9' cargo van which was a pain in the ass because of the amount of trips we had to make. I honestly will never be using this company again because of how over priced it was for a mistake from THEIR end. Moving is stressful enough and they made the situation even more stressful.Denis S.

I had requested furniture pads and a dolley, but the location was closed and they weren't in the van. I was told I could get them from another location, but when you pay by the mile, that gets expensive.Michael C.

It was not apparent during my reservation that no one would be wiping down the van after the previous user. It wasn't until I filled out the return rental questionnaire that the rental was going to be made immediately available to "another family." I knew this was a contactless rental, but I had assumed that the steering wheel and shifter would at least be wiped down. Knowing this now, I wouldn't do a rental like this again.James S.

I had no problems with the trailer ,,plus i rented it for 1 day and wind up keeping it for 5 days...all i had to do is call and ask if i can keep the trailer for another day...lol..so i had a good experience with uhaul and service..john M.
My original reservation, which I made a month ago, was in Linden, NJ. Two days before my pickup I was told my truck was in Parsippany, 30 miles away. When I complained I was told a manager would contact me. Instead of contacting me, they just gave my truck away. I called customer service and they were able to get me a truck from this new location in Sayerville. I was very grateful for this and was able to make my move as planned. The only issue with this was that it was a bigger truck, which cost more money. Also, they did not disclose the full price, including extra charges, which wound up costing me an extra $112 above the quoted price.Michael P.
We had a light issue. They did repair it within the hour. I ask them if I was allowed on the parkway with this trailer so now I an the owner of a traffic ticket for driving this trailer on the parkwayJulio F.

I was disappointing in the fact that U-HAUL REMOVED THE Dodge Van, It had better inside height.. I really dont like the Ford as the Roof is to low inside and i hit my head every time i rent one, This Ford had some issues with passenger door not unlocking from the inside, seemed like it was sticking, driver had to get out and open from outside.Still a great place to rent from. I will return. Please bring back another Dodge van.Emerson J.

As far as this rental. The center was courteous. The trailer was well maintained. I just hope someday U-haul can get rental equipment to the most convenient pickup dealer in the future. Mine was 30 minutes away ( Not bad )......but i have a dealer 10 minutes away. I always use U-haul and will continue too.Richard C.

ythis location is the best, The Old Bridge location Route 9 n kept adding more money to my bill every time i rented, and would tell me stories that its extra tax...i think there lying and stealing customers money.. Renter beware!!! Rented a trailer to move my car from home to the repair shop. Took my step brothers truck to this place to attach the tow. I get home and as I'm driving my car on to the trailer the entire trailer pops up and wrecks the tailgate! I called the location and uhaul, they opened a claim and 6 weeks later there response is "you should've checked the equipment." Seriously? !?!?!?!?!?JOHN C.
