The address on my contract is a previous address from 31 October 2018. For various reasons, customers often do not want to give their address. When Canadian law requires me to give my residential address, I usually comply. In most other cases I give my mailbox address. Your agent did not request my address, so I did not give it.

I had issues with booking through the App which resulted in my waiting in the cold for about 1 hour, and having to take public transport to the above mentioned location. I would not recommend the App.

Car was on 54ish thousand miles, but they put that on paper as 52. They told me it was full tank! then all of a sudden it was half tank, car was damaged, check engine light was on.

My Experience with U-haul yesterday deserves no stars. I booked a U-Haul van from my phone earlier in the morning for an 11am pick up from 4544 Dufferin Street Location. When we arrived, the van was in the lot and we went to the lock box to find it was open and no key inside. The Van was open so we went inside and looked to see if there was a key left, there was not. We followed the steps on U-Haul.com and they instructed us to go inside for assistance. The location had a sign on it's door saying "Closed for Holidays from December 17th-26th". We called U-Haul at this point and they were not sure why it let us book the vehicle if the location was closed. The rep was able to find us another location around the corner that had a van available and said there was someone there to help us. 11am - Reservation 11:30am - On phone with U-Haul 11:40am - arrived at new location. When we arrived, there was no one in the U-Haul office and a sign that said "If you need U-Haul, please go next door and someone will help you. Back at 1pm". So we went next door to the attached Auto Shop and 2 girls there looked lost when we asked about the U-Haul and said the guy from U-Haul was out at the moment and they didn't know when he would be back. We sat and waited 10 minutes and a man walked in who we thought maybe was the U-Haul rep. He wasn't. But he called the guy and said he would be back in 20 minutes. At the point, very frustrated, we called back U-Haul to explain the situation. They asked us to call the number of the U-Haul location so see if the guy picked up but we got voicemail. Finally, at 12:15pm, the U-Haul rep was back. THEN his computer was down and he had to write out a contract for us and then we had to drive to another site to pick up the Van. 12:30pm, and hour and a half after our booked, we got a key and van. Meanwhile we had paid our movers to sit and wait ($110/hr). The Van was filthy. There was a baby sock in the back, popcorn on the seats, garbage on the floor and when we turned on the vehicle, it had a warning that the front right tire needed air. The Van stunk of smoke and was disgusting. Needless to say we will NEVER be using U-Haul again and we were extremely disappointed with the service of the locations. The Reps were very nice when we called but there wasn't much they could do to help us. We lost a lot of money yesterday and I spoke to a customer service rep and they said they started a case #2075263. We would very much appreciate being compensated for this horrible experience. We hadn't seen the condition of the vehicle before making this case so that only adds to it. On top of the U-Haul charges, we had to pay $165.00 to the movers waiting. I would appreciate if someone could get back to me and address this and hopefully will never happen to someone else. Thank you for reading.

This has probably been the worst experience ever, the truck was disgusting and filled with garbage and all dirty. The rear door broke mid move and I was also made promises that were not kept. I will never recommend uhaul to anyone, I have used discount before and the truck they provided me was spotless and properly maintained. I would love to receive I full refund for this awful experience like I was promised.

Update your online reservation system to work with real time accurate information. I was given a wrong smaller truck and also moving dollies were not provided and was forced to make multiple trips to other U-Haul locations to hunt them down

I have used this location many times, and enjoy working with the staff there. The only issue I had was this booking I did online instead of calling, and unfortunately the truck that I booked was not available and I had to take a smaller truck.

A dozen customers were being served by one very slow employee. It took him almost thirty minutes to deal with the two customers ahead of me--he clearly lacked basic computer literacy that would have let him complete his tasks in a fraction of the time. I had to resist the urge to reach past him to type my own information at a reasonable speed. This after UHaul's last-minute rental location change made me go across the entire city--TWO HOURS out of my way!--to pick up the vehicle. I was told that this was because there were no vehicles available closer to me, downtown in a major city. If this was the case, UHaul certainly had that information available to them far earlier than it was shared with me--clearly you wait until the last minute to inform customers of availability because you know people will be trapped in their choices due to the short notice. I was livid and will certainly NEVER use UHaul again. Finally, the defog setting in the vehicle didn't seem to work, which was a safety hazard in the day's weather. Again UHaul's terrible service and shady business practices had cost me so much time I couldn't afford to stop and deal with it. For shame, UHaul. Whoever is reading this--if anyone!--should quit and work for a less terrible company.

This is the worst experience i ever had. When i reached the place i couldn't find the car and i asked the staff, he told me they didn't do online booking. Then i called the customer service, he told me this office parked their uhaul in another parking lot. I approached to the staff and asked him where you parked the car then he gave me a paper of map which is more than 20 mins walk from the place. When i want to return my car, i parked the car in the booked place and used the app to finish the process but the app charged me 70 more dollars for base rental fee which should be 20 for cargo van. I called the customer service and he told me everything showed in his system was correct that might be app's issue and said i can physically return the car by the staff there tomorrow just before 9:30 am you won't be charge extra. In the next day, i went there very early and then i saw that store didn't open on Sunday, it changed the schedule. I used the app to check out but it did charge me extra day cost but i have done everything before 9:30 am. i called the customer service to dispute this and he told me i will be contacted within 3 business days. Finally, i got back my refund that is my worst experience, if you don't have good app why you want to promote this, please hire some good developers to improve your app.

The drop off program on line was a problem. We tried it 3 times to complete and were not sure how successful we were but dropped off the keys and contract anyway.

The trailer door was hard to open but got it eventually. Minor point but is was charged an extra $5 in error. Just and adding mistake I think.

Location shared with a car dealership. Trucks located 3 blocks away on different street but key drop off located were trucks are. At the time side lot was being paved so limited customer parking. But this was a one of. Would use again.

Half way through the mobile pickup process, the process was terminated and could not be restarted. The intimation that the process was terminated was also given very late. I had to start over. On calling customer service, I was made to wait with the call on hold for 15 minutes.
