Rental was easy, friendly staff. When i went to return it 4 hours later, guy wouldn't let me use the washroom. Thats not how your suppose to treat a customer. I wouldn't rent it from this location.

The floor of the moving van that I rented to move my furniture was wet - there was a threat of my belongings being ruined by the dampness. Also, it was never indicated to me that I would have to refill the gas tank after use. I was charged nearly $10 when I returned the van because the gas gauge was below three-quarters of a tank - it was three-quarters of a tank to begin with! Why did no one say that I would be responsible for filling the tank, especially when it was indicated in my online booking that gas refill was included in the overall quote?

Terrible customer service. When I booked the reservation online I specifically opted out of the insurance. When I picked up the cargo van the person handling the transaction charged me for it but would not let me see the fees until I returned, he stated that the charges were just "held temporarily on the card". When I came back he handed me the receipt and I told him to remove the charge for the insurance and he said "no I can't do that because you didn't tell me you didn't want the insurance." - even though I specifically booked the vehicle without it. This is terrible customer service. He recharged me for insurance that I did not want, without telling me, lied to me about it, and then said it was my fault for not telling him in the first place. Up until now I have used uhaul for all my moves. I will never again use uhaul and I will be sure to tell everyone not to use uhaul. Absolutely ridiculous experience.

It's not the fault of Jane St. location which is why my star reviews are different than this negative review, but UHaul sent me to a different location and this location was a one hour bus ride away. I was waiting for company personnel that didn't exist on a sweltering day and had to run around finding change for bus fare. Threw my move off my three hours. I also had to come back to pick up my deposit, really killed my only day off after a very stressful move.

They automatically added the insurance fee without asking me if I wanted additional insurance or not. This is not what is obtainable in the previous location that I have visited. As such I think it’s a bad idea.

Worst experience ever I had to book 5 different times to actually get a truck I booked and got three different locations they called and cancelled on me never using this company again

More training of staff is required. When we arrived, the counter person said her internet had been out for 24 hours so we couldn’t have our truck. I called uhaul. They called her and told her to give us the rental. She agreed but when she got off the phone, she said she didn’t know how to do it. We were left waiting as she tried to get in touch with the manager who was offsite. Eventually, the manager processed our rental remotely. I had already entered my card details into your website. Why was the waiting and remote re-entry of my credit card necessary? She could have simply taken a photo of my license .

Because this is at a Dollar Mart retail store there was only one sales clerk trying to serve retail customers and finish the rental process with me. It took quite a long time for me to be able to pick up the van.

I sign when i return the truck a charge on my card and they gave a receipt of 98.08 dll , now i check my credit card they charge 114.63 without my consent. This is stealing and i will report that contract n. 86248230 this is my last rentall from you. Stealing on the back of customers is not appropriate!!!

There was crushed beer cans underneath the driver seat, no inspection was completed prior to getting the truck and also when it was returned. Visa was charged and I didn't recieve a break down of the cost. Was overcharged
