He couldn't speak English, use a computer or even have a clue. Took an hour to actually get the rental. The movers I hired had to wait for me to get to the place we had to load. He has no business trying to rent u hauls.

This location being a gas station, the people who I dealt with had no idea on how to process the rental, eventually put me on the phone with a U-Haul representative to complete the transaction. Then I was told to go hook up the trailer to my vehicle, with no assistance. I was unsure of the proper process and did my best. Luckily there was a U-Haul location by my house (they did not have the size trailer I needed or I would have went there). I limped to my town with the trailer and stopped at the Antioch, IL location where a helpful representative, came out looked over the trailer and hooked it up properly. He also told me that they NEVER let a customer hook up the trailer. The Union Grove location needs training on how to use the computer system and to service the customer properly.

When I left the store I noticed that the fuel gauge was not what was on the paper. I didn't think to go back and report it. I was only going 25 miles so I figured $6 would fill it back to where I got it. Well I had to put an additional $8 just to fill it to where store had it marked. I know its not much but it all adds up. Other then that I was happy with the service.

We ordered a 15 ft. truck, when we got there to pick up, only 10 ft. were available. Truck was clean but ran poorly.

You need to keep windshield washer fluid in your truck that is for below zero weather. Plus, the wipers themselves were fine and working good for the drivers side, but the passenger side wouldn't wipe the windshield all the way clean.

The staff here was so helpful I needed the U-Haul last minute in an emergency. I was able to pick it up at 8 oâ€™clock at night. Pick up and drop off was quick and easy.

I checked in online to avoid a long wait but it still took almost an hour. There was only one person working at this gas station and he had customers that he had to attend to during my check in. He then tells me he doesn't have a dolly even though I had one on my list. And proceeded to give me the one he keeps on the back room. Which was broken and we couldn't use. When I got into the cab, it was so full of dog hair - all over and when the ac was on it flew in your face. I felt so gross just riding in it. I'm never renting a Uhaul from that place again. Hugely disappointed and unsatisfied.

The clerk at the gas station had little to no idea what was going on. It took an hour to get the truck because of something with the moving pads. I thought I had already reserved them, and they thought I had to pay for them there. I was very confused as to why they needed my credit card 3 seperate times or my phone number 10 differnet times.

I reserved a truck for Sunday 5/28; my plans then changed and I picked up Saturday 5/27. The agent said there were two different mileage rates; I asked which one would I pay? I was told, "I don't know, you need to call U-Haul." I called the regional UHaul office, Garrett Moelk on Sunday 5/28 and the phone operator said I could register a complaint, which I did, and I would receive a call from Mr. Moelk within 48-72 hours. I have not received a call yet. When I turned in the truck on 5/28, I was charged the higher rate, which if I had been made aware of WHEN I RENTED THE TRUCK, I would have made different plans. #1 - the local station where the truck was rented needs to know how the mileage rates work! This is unacceptable to customers to not be told in advance that the entire mileage charge is based on the DAY the truck is rented. #2 - Area field managers need to follow-up on complaints. I would like a refund of the few miles I traveled at the higher mileage rate, but I do not expect a follow-up on this.
