Convenient location but the office was tiny and kinda gross to be honest. But easy pick up and drop off so I would recommend. I wish the truck was newer and had back up cameras.

Sorry, even tho the person at the office was nice enough, no one was even in the office, and it was closed, the day before when i came by to confirm my rental, and that was at 2:00 pm on a wednesday. The location itself is in a very sketchy area of venice, practically third-world, and the office look d completely un-official. I initially went up the street to the other Uhaul facility on Lincoln in Santa Monica, and it spoke with a customer service person there. That place was clean, and in a much better part of town, and the young black woman was both personable and professional. I would have much preferred to have dealt with that office, even tho it was much further from my house, (I rode my bike) because I felt like it was a real representation of what I have come to expect over the years from a company like Uhaul.

This guy is an absolute SCAM artist. He told me Friday when I was at the place to have it back Monday by 10am for my two day rental cost of . He told me Sunday doesn't count because he's not open. I had the rental back at 9:30am sharp! He also lied about my mileage I mad a total of 6 trips all INSIDE Venice, CA. He is a total rip off and a shit representation of your brand. Not to mention the Uhaul was FILTHY. I'm sorry but I'm super salty towards this guy.

My rental was a total of 6 miles and I put gas in the truck, a fact I mentioned on return. Nonetheless, when I received the final bill it included a $7.88 fuel charge. I have asked for this to be reversed, but it appears I may have to challenge the charge through the credit card company.

Matt, the U-Haul representative, at the 620 Lincoln Blvd. location was very rude. He was asking me for all of the check-in information that I completed about 20 minutes prior to arriving at the pick-up location. I told him that I already checked-in online and was trying to show him the confirmation. He started yelling at me and saying he needed the information. I asked him not to yell at me and there was no reason for him to get so mad and to be yelling at me. He then refused to assist me. He calmed down and then completed the transaction. It was completely unnecessary for him to get so mad and there was absolutely no need for him to yell at me. He has a bad temper.

This is for u-haul and not the pickup location: Ensure the truck is available in the location the customer prefers, or make customers select 2 options of locations if the first is just a suggested

Worst experience I've ever had. Went to drop off at 3 pm on a Friday. No one was in the office. No phone number listed, I had to look it up on my phone. When the employee answers he was rude. Told me to drop off the keys in the box, I said what box, he said the box. Sir if am asking what box I don't know where it is? He was horrible to deal with on the phone. Finally found the box after walking around his entire building. Next day I get a call back from him, where are the keys and which uhual did you have? I don't know, I dropped off the keys and rental contract in the box like you said. Then he replies saying no, no, there's nothing In there. He tries to blame me for losing the keys even though I did exactly as instructed. He then asked for my uhual number, again everything is in the box including the rental contract. Again rude, horrible service, and tries to blame me for his irresponsible actions. Then this morning I wake up to an extra gas charge. Well if he would've looked at the contract he would notice the gas was wrong when I first rented the uhual and the awesome gentleman I rented the uhual from in Westminster corrected the level on the service contract. I tried calling you guys this morning, 20 minutes on hold and no one answered. Called the Westminster location for assistance, no one answered. So I will be calling my credit card company and contesting the charges as they are fraudulent and false charges. Also, check the feedback on your Venice Beach, Lincoln Blvd location. It's nothing but 1 stars and bad experience. Figured a company as big as yours would do a better job looking after it's customers. Very dissatisfied with your customer care and I will be sharing my negative experience with others

Dont take personal calls about your suspended license during the check in process because I was unsure what to do after and figured out how to check out on my own. You didn’t tell me the store would be closed and accused me of not returning the key when I put it in the drop box

I had originally requested a 10 footer, but changed my mind to get a van. The owner personally picked up a van and arranged it so that I can have it for the day. He’s very kind to his customers and always wants to help.

I was charged for two days. I went to pick up the truck at 11 and it took almost 1 hour to process everything. He said the truck was due back before 5. He said it was 20/day. I wasn’t told if had to be brought back the same day at 5. That’s not ever 6 hours. Plus it took forever to process. Very unsatisfactory experience. I feel robbed and cheated and will never be using your services again.
