The person who connected the trailer to my car failed to properly seat the latch on the tow ball. The hitch almost disconnected while driving. So a representative of U-Haul almost caused a severe accident. The U-Haul employee who received and disconnected the trailer at the return location in Houston called this nearly catastrophic failure to my attention.

U-Haul was filthy and there were cigarette butts on the floor of the main cabin. Emergency chain was broken so we only got to use one. As for the location, it’s a car shop so it definitely feels like a side gig and afterthought for them to have U-Hauls. I wouldn’t recommend going here but there were no Waco locations with what we needed so it was the last option for us.
