I could not return the truck via my phone, I tried twice and it would not complete the final payment. So I had to just drop the keys and got charged extra, the app is a good idea but needs work.

The older man of the two there is very nasty. When I was unable to get the truck back and had to rent another day, he called me yelling and screaming. He is very unprofessional and should not be allow to deal with people.

The box truck I rented was full of bird poop i could hardly see out the windshield I had to basically wash the truck before doing what I had to do.

The service people were mean and they changed me for a cleaning fee for a dirty van. The van also had low air pressure in the tires. When I questioned the charge for the cleaning fee I was blamed for the mess someone else had left behind, then yelled at when I explained how the mess wasnâ€™t mine. Overall this location doesnâ€™t take care of their vehicles or their costumers.

Should be a real phone conversation to be approved not a chat with 0 activity. We stood under a highway for over 20 min. The process should be faster. Upload photos of DL before, etc.

location is difficult. the rental trucks are all parked in the wrong direction on a one way street so you have to reverse down almost an entire block very near to the highway. it was very scary for me driving.

My issues were possibly more to do with the U-Haul experience. It took 30 mins to get the car up and out despite doing everything prior. Both collecting and returning was a multi step process. Huge waste of time. Also nobody monitoring gas. It was way under when I first got in. Waste of time and energy.

I rented a 10 foot U-Haul truck from this location for a move the following day. Through the U-Haul website, I also purchased two movers to help me unload the truck once I got to my new address. I was moving from a first floor to a fourth floor (I didn't need the help loading but unloading was going to be a bit more challenging). When I arrived to pick up my U-Haul TRUCK, I was told there were no trucks available and that I would have to rent the van instead. The problem here was that I now needed to make two trips with the van instead of just one with the truck that I had actually rented. Normally, this would not have been a problem but because I hired the movers on the unload side for 2 hours, I was unable to actually use the services I purchased since it took longer than 2 hours to go back and reload the truck for the second time. I am extremely frustrated that U-Haul would offer a service (I understand that it's through a third party but still), which I elected to purchase and then I was unable to use the full service I paid for due to their mistake on the available equipment. This is not quality customer service in my mind. The movers were great. No complaint there, I just wish I had been able to use them for the two hours I paid for.

we were charged for a dolly that we weren't given. went back and forth THREE different times with customer service before they removed the charge, and then they charged us for a parking ticket we'd already paid. absolutely infuriating customer service.

The system was shut down nationwide so I did not get my truck into two hours after the scheduled time. On top of that, they didnâ€™t it even have the right equipment for me. I ordered a 10 ft truck but on the day of the rental was told I would have to take a 15 ft truck. I did not want this big of a truck as I did not need the space and driving and parking in New York is hard enough as it is. So a 2 hour delay plus the wrong equipment with zero notification. I will likely never use uhaul again.

Donâ€™t allow customers to rent unavailable vehicles. I reserved a vehicle for a certain time at a certain location and my reservation was then changed to a different time different location and different vehicle that couldnâ€™t fit the items o needed to move. Very aggravating.

Are U-Haul was not at the location we had booked and supposedly was changed by text which we did not receive in the previous afternoon. The first location did not know where we were to go as they had nothing showing on their computer. They tried to help us. We waited 45 minutes there and then had to go to this location. We were already unhappy but he said it wasnâ€™t his fault. We picked up the van 1 hour and 15 minutes late and had to pay our movers which were contracted with U-Haul another $100 for an extra hour because the van pickup was late. The customer service experience was poor overall. There was no attendant to process my U-Haul pick-upâ€”I had to flag down one of the mechanics, and this took us 15 minutes past my scheduled pick up time. When we finally were being processed, the attendants were unhelpful and had difficulty communicating how to process the transaction as credit instead of debit, in addition to further difficulty streamlining other moving supply purchases.

The guy there tells me to follow the instructions on the sign to get the key for the truck from a lock box. The uhaul app did not give me access and the website did not either. After an hour on the phone with uhaul customer service (along with 3 other people having the same problem...) The customer service person finally tells me to go ask the guy for the key (which I did when I got there). I said, ok but I'm pretty sure he doesn't have access to the lock box. I asked the person on site again about the problem. And he got a few buttons on his computer and the app started working. Now, with my phone near death, I go through all the steps within the app to start the rental. Once complete, the guy on site hands me the f'ing key. There was no need to unlock the lock box. It was sitting behind the front counter the whole time. The communication sucks at this location and I would not recommend picking up here. Drop off was much smoother. Just handed the guy the key (again didn't use the lock box).

You're mobile pickup process was an embarrassment and I will be asking for a credit to my invoice for how impossible your customer service personnel made the process. I spoke to maybe 10 agents to try to simply change my reservation time. It was changed 4 times incorrectly, I was given different information from each agent, and only one could properly process this simple change. On top of that, the mobile app barely worked and when it did there was no instruciton/ I called proir to picking up the truck to be sure that it worked as it was raining and I didn't want to be caught in the rain trying to figure out the app.I was told that everything was working proerply despite it not seeming so, and once I got there it would be effortless. It was the opposite of effortless and I did end up getting caught in the rain, on the phone (AGAIN) with your customer service. On top of that when I went to drop the truck off, I was never given a code for the lockbox to drop the key off. When I called customer service (AGAIN!!) I was told essentially "I can't help you but you're welcome to wait there and see if someone comes that can help" This entire process was an absolute joke and I would be ashamed to provide the customer service that I received. Also, your problematic pickup made me late for the item I was supposed to be getting Friday night...so I drove out there only for the store to be closed, then had to drive back out Saturday morning. I will be asking for a refund of at least $40 for the added mileage due to your glitchy app and poorly trained customer service professionals, on top of the massive inconvenience and waste of my time.

We used self serve pickup and none of our extra items were loaded into the van, When we made an extra trip to pick these up, they blamed us for the mistake and we still had to pay for the items plus the extra gas to go back and get them . Also, The van needed an oil change.

Additional fraudulent charges were added to my bill. Charged for 2.5 additional gallons of gas when I only traveled 4 total miles. Charged a cleaning fee with no explanation. Will be refuting charges as they are not justified.
