Took an hour to get code after payment and driver info went through then their check in app froze. Took over 5 calls to 4 extremely rude and unhelpful phone techs to finally get a manager that knew what he was doing. ALL THE WHILE WE ALREADY GUESSED THE CODE AND HAD THE KEYS AND TRUCK STARTED BEFORE EVERYTHING WAS CONFIRMED AND THE MGR GAVE US THE CODE. LOL. After 5 rentals in 2 months I'M SOOOOO DANG HAPPY TO NEVER HAVE TO USE UHAUL EVER AGAIN!!!Lisa A.

The online check in process left a great deal to be desired. It took us the better part of an hour and necessitated speaking with 3 representatives via phone before we could get the code necessary to open the lock box and secure the vehicle. This was especially troubling because it caused a delay for the few friends who were able to come and give us a hand on that day. When we finally secured the truck, the 12 pads we ordered and the appliance dolly we ordered were not in the truck. For the fourth time, I contacted a UHaul representative and asked that an employee from the East Petersburg location bring those missing items to us. I was informed that there was only one worker at that UHaul location. Upon arriving there personally to retrieve those items for our move, I found three employees at that location. I was told that there was no appliance dolly available for us to use. Although we were not charged for the dolly, I believe that we should have been reimbursed additionally for the poor level of service that we received and the personal inconvenience we experienced on the day of our move. It would be extremely difficult for me to recommend the services of UHaul based on this experience.Gene H.
