Cargo van we rented reeked of cigarettes. Very unpleasant for most of the population who don’t smoke. Passenger door could not be unlocked without a key. Driver side unlock button didn’t work. Very well priced service overall though.

I originally rented a 26’ truck. There were issues with the truck when I arrived and it wasn’t able to be rented. I was given a 15’ as a replacement. This was a minor inconvenience as I had to make a few extra trips, but the GM (Russ I believe) gave me some extra benefits that made up for it. Much better customer experience than when I rented with Budget last year and they gave me a truck with a hole in the roof and acted like I was crazy for not wanting to move from Philly to Worcester with it.

You could have more 26ft trucks most of the times that I rent from uhaul you don't have the equipment that I need so it cost me much more money to do my job instead of costing 120.00 dollars it cost me 200+ dollars because I have to rent a 20ft truck when I needed a 26ft truck because that facility didn't have what I needed but other than that everyone at that facility is great very perfesional very helpful I rent alot of trucks from that facility like I said great staff they work so hard they all deserve a raise

When I book a truck at Patriot Glass in Holden I should be able to pickup the truck at that location HOWEVER two times in a row my location was switched to Worcester (Belmont Street) which was an inconvenience. So why send out emails confirming the date,time and location . The phone call changs everything That’s not right. Very disappointed with my experience with U-haul

Nice new cargo van, and personnel who set me up and checked me back in were fine, but two issues with van: I was told I was being given a half tank of gas but it was visibly lower than that. The back doors lock was hanging loose on inside of van - I could not lock it.

My debit card was charged an additional fee one month after the transaction and rental was complete. I want this charge refunded as I do NOT approve it. Because of this, I am completely UNSATISFIED and WILL NOT recommend UHAUL to others.

There were a couple of small issues with the rental truck but overall the vehicle was in good condition. Our interactions with the staff in person and by phone were excellent with one exception. The woman who was working at the desk when we turned in the keys was combative and told us we should not have followed the directions given by the UHaul staff over the phone. Happily, she was the exception that proved the rule! :-)

Cab smelled so bad we felt ill. Needed to buy a can of spray to try to neutralize and mask. Steering really, really loose and sometimes brake squeel. Lots of dings, scratches, dents on the box and cab; took the insurance but I'd hate to be blamed for something I didn't do.

I had booked online a few days ahead, but rental was "upgraded" on me without telling me. I didn't want larger vehicle, but was given no choice. I was told by the personnel that they never have the size vehicle I was looking for (10' truck) and that someone should have told me. But no one had. Also, two of the three people working were more concerned with ordering their breakfast from McDonalds than helping customers. One woman was very professional, others were not at all.

Seems to be a disconnect between the main reservation team and that actual store location which is beyond frustrating. Was looking for a specific size truck and had it easily reserved by phone with the branch that I was going to. When I called in to this particular branch, a women over the phone mentioned two days before my actual rental date that the truck was there and ready and that I could pickup the truck at any point in time before my reservation. Given that information directly from the branch, I called into the pick up branch location again on the day before my actual rental date to determine store hours and a plan to get the keys to get the truck that night to start the packing process for my move. Over the phone, the Manager Russell said that the reservation was cancelled because I didn’t pick up the truck on that day BEFORE my real reservation. I informed Russell that, no my reservation was actually for the following day and that I was told the truck was there and ready to as of the day before. I have several emails and two voicemails regarding my rental date and time being that following day and NOT the day that I had called Russell. I even received another call while on the phone with Russell that went to voicemail and was for that same Worcester location confirming my 15ft truck was ready to go and gave all the store information. Russell then figured out a plan to ensure the right truck size was available and ended the conversation that this location was open until 7pm and that he would be able to setup the truck to be a 24/7 rental. Being my first time renting a truck, I asked more about how this 24/7 rental works and was informed of the site to go to and that it would walk me through the steps. That same day, I go to pick up the truck the day before my actual rental date given the fact Russell had sorted things out and make it to the branch by 7:02pm. Standing right outside the locations doors, employees are inside ignoring us. While I understand the location closed at 7pm, I then go right into doing the site information needed for 24/7 pickup. After completing the steps that I need to, the final statement says “congratulations you have cut down your wait time for tomorrow’s reservation by 15 minutes” and no other details. After YouTubing what I’m supposed to see on this page to get the keys and being frustrated that we told employees through the door that we were told we could get the keys and that we paid and went through all the steps and just need a little help, employees still continued to ignore us. On working in the rental industry myself, I found this to be a poor management technique to ignore a customer who is making you aware they can’t perform a task that their branch and employees claimed would work. This leaves me to believe that they don’t care about the customer nor do they want to take the time to send one employee to the door to help and relieve the situation.
