No one was at location until 10:15a despite 10a posted opening time. Representative was very helpful when he arrived. Overall rental process was a disaster, however. I attempted to check out vehicle online, received message that I needed to call a phone number. Rep at that number stated that vehicle had not been returned. I told her I was looking at it, she checked the identification number and said it had not been checked in and tagged as ready for rental. Stated that I had to talk to "Truck Share" and transferred me. Rep at Truck Share stated that only "local dispatch" could change status of vehicle, transferred me to local dispatch. I stayed on hold for twenty minutes, and then was disconnected. By this time, the rep at the location had arrived. Reps were all polite and helpful. The problem is in the process, which Uhaul should re-engineer.

The equipment was clean but pretty beat up. The big issue though was that when I showed up to pick up my reservation, I got a message that no vehicle had been reserved, even though I had a reservation confirmation. It sounds like they'd double booked one of the vehicles, but it took me half an hour on the phone to get it resolved. The resolution was to put me in a small truck that was also on site instead of the van. When they made the "new" reservation, they made it for my original start time even though it was then 30 minutes later, and I didn't catch that at the time. Then I got the text reminder that my rental was expiring, and realized I was going to be 30 minutes late since through NO FAULT OF MY OWN I had started 30 minutes late. I then was on hold FOR AN HOUR-- I called half an hour early to try to extend, and staid on hold until half an hour after I had returned the vehicle, and finally gave up and hung up. The extra charges ended up being negligible, but next time I need a vehicle I'll be using Home Depot.

One regular and one appliance dolly. only the appliance dolly was in the truck when I picked up. it was after hours so I just had to deal without it, but Uhaul charged me for it. Also know that after hours pickup means you have to deal with the Uhaul app. It took me 30 minutes and a phone call to support to get through it. Then 30 minutes at drop off. Super frustrating. Wouldn't do it again.
RYAN DURITSAIve never had any issues with uhaul in the past. Ive used their services many time and have been greatly appreciative of their customer service, their vehicles, and overall experience. The app is absolute trash. This was the first time ive ever used a mobile pickup and it was not easy. It took easily twice as long using the app as when picking up a vehicle during work hours. Definitely needs some development work.
