The trucks engine was straining to shift gears. And I know that truck I've used it B4 in my last move and the move before that. The van is old and swallows gas faster then an American family at a buffet

Daniel Doughertythe steering on the truck was very poor, need an alignment or something. every bump we were all over the road. even took a 10 minute video of the steering wheel and how difficult it was to keep the truck straight. now I do not have any social media , however the person I was with most certainly does.
Peter BerensJust filled up more gas than it should be returned with, I got the truck with 1/4 tank gas and returned it with almost 1/2 tank and was expected to get back a credit like the other U haul in Jersey.

theresa mclaughlinCharged me multiple times and did not give me the correct vehicle keys, so check out was a hassle and I spent 3 hours trying to resolve, and I used the truck for 30min and drove 7miles total. I am still waiting for my refunds.
Leilani PadillaLocation was not able to provide the supplies that were ordered on the website claiming that they no longer provide them because of COVID, but I was still charged for them. Truck had a check engine light on and a missing AC vent, and notes from previous customers taped to the dash to hide it.

Michael LewitGood location near my house. only issue I had was I reserved for a 8:30pm after hour self-pick up and even though I had the email conformation from Uhaul and I was at the location the worker went home and uhaul didn't provide the after hour pick up instructions. When I called to get them, I was told this location didn't have an after-hour pickup BUT I had the email. So, I had to come back the next morning and I was delayed a few hours. but everything else went well.
camille SRISKANDATake that truck out of service until it is serviced. There is a small oil leak, the transmission is screwed up and I barely made the trip I needed to take. On top of that, the gas tank has a hole in it. I had filled it up to bring back and by the time I moved it the next day, there was only a half of a tank.

Michael GiuntaThe customer service was horrible and they tried to rob me … they gave me a price and I told them I wanted to see the breakdown because I rented a truck at the same location two days prior and I did more mileage and this time I rented it it was less mileage and about the same price . The guy who ended up started that he was the manager said that they will email me the break down. I never received it I told him if he can print it out or take a pic from the computer that was behind the register for me to see and he said their printer wasn't working. He told me that was the price n thar he can't do nothing about it and to call uhaul and take it up with them or dispute it with my bank. After my husband showed him his police badge he magically went in the system and printed out the breakdown after he stated his printer wasn't working. Long story short they charged 15 dollars for fuel charge when I filled the fuel up more than it was before I received it. I showed him the picture on my phone of the fuel when I picked the truck up and how it was when I dropped it off and even the receipt that I put in for gas. He was like fine I will give you the money back he looked real annoyed like I caught him in an act of how they rob people. He continued by taking the 15 dollars and throwing it down on the table a five and a ten. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE … horrible experience and added more stress like moving isn't stressful enough. Giacomo GuglielmoI RESERVED an appliance dolly and a handtruck. When we picked up the truck they did not have either available. They said they rented them to someone else. What's the point in reserving if they're not going to honor it? So then we were stuck moving everything without any equipment to help us. It was a nightmare!

Angel RodriguezMy U-Haul was not available for my reserved time. The truck was not staged. The worker was present at the time of pickup and refused to release keys after 9pm. The location markets as 24/7 but does not practice this. I was told nothing could be done and forced to wait hours after my reservation until the location claimed it would open up again. This set my schedule back several hours that I could have used. Absolutely do not recommend anyone utilize this U-Haul location. I have never had an issue with a U-Haul location until this place. Customer service could not help at all either.
