GLEN GI recently had the pleasure of renting a U-Haul from the location at American Self Storage on Metker St in Irving, TX, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a genuine willingness to assist me with my rental needs. The member at the counter was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of my questions, ensuring that I had everything I needed for a smooth rental experience. The rental process itself was quick and efficient, with the staff guiding me through each step with ease. The vehicle I rented was clean, well-maintained, and ready to go when I arrived. I felt confident in its reliability for my day's use. What truly stood out to me was the level of professionalism and friendliness exhibited all the time. They went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my rental, and their dedication to customer service did not go unnoticed. vishnu vI had booked uhaul at a location that was convenient to me and as mentioned on the website while booking, it was guaranteed for the specific date & time. However, while I arrived at the location to get the truck, it was not available there and I was asked to go to another uhaul location more than 10 miles away to get the truck. I lost a lot of time and it caused a lot of inconvenience that day as the move took way longer than I had planned for. Also, I had to pay for long distance charges since my original pickup location was just within 2 miles from my home. I did not expect such a bad experience from uhaul. Give I did not get a 50 USD refund for unavailability of the truck at the original booking location as was promised during booking.

I've been using it for years, and in a world where so many retail locations have slow and poor customer service, here things are like back in the good old days. And it's so fast and efficient. I think I was driving away in my rental truck within 4 minutes of arriving.

GLEN GI checked on the availability of 5' x 8' trailers the day before I needed it. I would recommend that anyone who is thinking about moving to do this. All went well at pick up and travel went smoothly as well as drop up 6 hours away from pick up.

Kendra AUhaul and this location have clearly had many issues between them in the past. There was no way to access the location for 24/7 pickup and the location was closed upon arrival.

Brooke JAdvise customers when they are renting a truck that does not have a ramp. The ramp would've been a big help for my move yet I didn't have one.

ASAD JHave phone person available for that location to answer on the spot questions that arise. As I was coming and leaving others were asking g me about their hours of operations though posted on door, yet office was closed. Even dumpster service truck was waiting at gate expecting someone from the office to let them in. I think they will lose a lot of potential sakes by not having an active person or at least phone with live person to assist.

Mark LIf you rent a U-Haul from here bring a friend that can drive your car back. I was alone so he let me leave my car there but there's not a good place to park. I highly recommend this place.
