My only complaint is the Chevrolet cargo van burns way to much gas.

I was charged for the gas and when I went to follow up, twice, I was basically told I was being charged because I didn't have proof despite having the receipt. The lady I dealt with seemed not to care. I feel like this is a scam to rip people off and even though I don't use UHaul often I can assure I will never use this company again. From the moment I walked into the U-Haul location, it was clear that customer satisfaction was a top priority, and this employee went above and beyond to make my rental process smooth and stress-free.
Rolando SanchezStop lying. I had an order to pick up from here then drop off at Burbank U-Haul location. I got a call a day before from U-Haul asking me if I would be interested in saving $79 on my order by returning the truck back to Hawthorne CA. Sounded good so I said yes. The next day I came in to pick up and I was charged $90. My original quote was $140. Math didn't add up. I was also told if I went over 50 miles I would be charged for overage miles. The distance from Hawthorne to Burbank is 30miles. My literal move plan is 60 miles. I told the rep that I want my original order and want to drop off at Burbank. He said they don't do that. I showed him the email with order/reservation number and he was speechless. Then he said, well you can't do it they only offer now is this. Freaking BS. Corrupt, imbecile, and out right fascists against their customers. U-Haul set me up. I ended paying more the $140 in the end. Also when I returned the truck the location didn't offer early drop off. I picked up at 9am and was told to drop off before 9am to avoid fees. I came at 7am to see the gate was locked they don't offer early drop off. Had to drive home and come back adding another 10miles to my bill.
Edwin OhanianThe cargo van i rented was parked at corner stall difficult to pull out, wasn't used to driving a big size van/ vehicle, mirrors on either sides was helpful, otherwise behind driver side window was dark no visibility. Rented the cargo van to dispose garage full of household junks. Gardena Republic Service dump site on Rosecran's was horrifying experience so forgot a trash bag left in the van. CS didn't charge customers when I went back to retrieve the recyclable (item) trash bag. Merci.

michael cabralExtremely difficult payment process. We wanted to pay with the card used to make the reservation, which was in the system and had previously been approved via the website. They required that the card be physically present. This was a business rental, made by the office and we did not have the actual card. It took 1,5 hours to work everything out. Very frustrating and time consuming.

I had called in advance 3 hours before my appointment and the employee (only one working there) was rude with an attitude when I had a simple question on how busy it was to see if I could get an idea of timeframe availability. When I showed up with my husband, her demeanor and attitude immediately changed seeing me and my husband versus the way she talked to me on the phone although I'm the one who booked it/made the reservation and had all the details versus my husband was just the name I reserved it under as he was the driver of the truck.

Yamileth ShalonI was redirected to this location,having to pickup the rental 30 minutes away by freeway in Hawthorne .Shop didn't have the furniture dolly I requested either. Young man there did a good job just didn't have my equipment and offered to send me farther away to get one, I was already behind as this location opened an hour later than the original pickup.I was more unhappy with uhaul reservations,it wasn't his fault.

Torry SomersSHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES. DO NOT RENT A U-HAUL FROM THIS PLACE unless you get things not written in contract in writing. I was told I could return the rental first thing in the morning after due date with no extra charges if I called to let them know (I asked multiple times if I could do that to avoid any misunderstandings/extra charges) and they are now overcharging my card. The lady answering the phone does care to help. Stay away from this place if you can.
