Chris MAlthough this location was adequate, it should be noted that my overall experience with Uhaul was horrible. This location was about a 40 minute drive from our hotel unlike the 8 minute drive to the location I booked at. The customer service rep that called me was horrible! She should not be in charge of calling people to let them know their pick up location is 40 minutes away from their first choice. I had no idea that Uhaul could reassign your pick up location. I will definitely consider this experience before I book another moving van. This reassignment of pickup locations cost us about 2 hours of our time.

CHRISTOPHER MTrailer had a mix of tires radialand bias ply. No tongue jack so impossible to remove trailer when loaded. The trailer got a flat tire luckily I was near the Rome New York uhaul unfortunately they did not have a tire or tire repair tools. I attempted to contact roadside assistance while one of the employees went and got me a tire repair kit. I removed tire and fixed it nearly 30 min still on hold, ridiculous. No internet access where I was so couldn't even contact uhaul roadside assistance that way. All in all for a nearly $400 tow I feel that I definitely did not get my monies worth.

JOE Hi had requested pickup location of SandyHollow & S. Alpine Rd or corner of Alpine Rd and Newburg/Broadway. I was totally inconvenienced by having to pick the truck up in Davis Junction & the guy told me when we got to destination in Sioux Falls, there would be a key drop-box on the side of building to leave the key.

CHRISTOPHER MTime of pick up was assigned without asking if that time worked for me to pick up. Had to drive 45 min to and from to pick up when I reserved it 3 weeks in advance from sycamore IL. Owner at pick up location was not happy that I couldn't get there by assigned time due to his wanting to leave town Arranged to get there on time and he was not there. Had to wait an additional 30 minutes for him to get there so the rental could take place. The time of pick up should be variable and should be able to be chosen by the person picking up the U-Haul. Should not have got charged for a full day when I had to drive an hour and a half to pick it up at a different location than it was rented for. Not sure I will use U-Haul again.

Alberto MI had booked the trailer close to where we live in Sycamore. My first reservations were cancelled for some unknown reason. When I came to pickup the trailer in the Sycamore location the one way trailer wasn't available and I have to drive an hour round trip out of my way to pickup the trailer. Went to that location prior to booking the trailers and the manager at the Sycamore location told me to book on line.

John SWas uninformed about anything I had to fill out, so moving day came and I sat there for 20 minutes filling out information just to have to go inside and find the people to get the keys anyways. Rang their bell multiple times until I had to walk around their building to find someone who worked there. They did not have the truck that I had wanted and I was told I would not be charged extra for mileage but got a receipt this morning for an extra $50-60. I am beyond livid. The place was closed when I had returned it and I could not even leave a voicemail to state that I had on time due to there not being an answering machine, so I had to call the actual company to let them know so I didn't get another b.s. charge. I will not be renting from this place and will be calling the company again about my over charge that I was told would not happen.

keven cThis location was awesome, the steps leading to getting there was more than a hassle. I had originally went to the location on hillcrest road in Dekalb, there was issues processing my order online(not the stores fault) but the lady helping me only half helped and got information such as my name and number incorrect leading to me not getting the information about the location of a nearby truck until I had to call the district office which was the only number provided on the reservation print out and on the phone the man was super helpful but he stated he wasn't even for the district I was in, I'm just grateful he was able to help me because otherwise I'd have been at a lose for what to do. So again he pick up location super great just a hassle along the way and I never received the email with truck images to confirm prior damages to the truck or choose the drop off location.
