I rented a uhaul on Sunday Feb 3, 2024 and was told to drop the key in the drop box the next day on Sunday when I was done. I did not even have the uhaul a full 24 hours and I got charged for 4 days of use. I contacted Aegis and they were quick to tell me they were not at fault and I would have to contact uhaul. Uhaul contacted them and opened a claim and they still have yet to respond to fix the issue.. DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION TO RENT A UHAUL UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO PAY FOR EXTRA DAYS THAT YOU DONT USE IT! 0/10 stars…. HIGHLY URGE YOU TO FIND A DIFFERENT UHAUL DEALER.

I rented an appliance dollie that was supposed to be for 24hrs. I went back to the location, in accordance with my contract, to turn in but the office was closed. I went back the next day, still closed. I went back 2 more times and the office was closed. Then I get an email from uhaul that I was delinquent in returning my equipment. THEN, when I called the customer service number to work things out, the person who initially took my call told me to hold and kicked me back into the cue. Uhaul needs to figure things out both with their franchises and their customer service! This long time customer will not be back.

I received an email stating my uhaul hadn't been returned. I returned it a day early. The people where I returned it were very nice but something went wrong as far as communicating with whoever that is returned the trailer. I'd like to be contacted and told all is good and they did receive the trailer in a timely manner.

The woman working was extremely rude. Not helpful at all. She had just started her lunch when I arrived the 1st time. Came back an hour and a half later and she was on lunch again. Had to get someone from the gym next door to get the trailer off my car. I will never drop off here again.

Could not find anyone at this location, phone calls were not returned. Made a total of FIVE trips back to the location, trying to find someone so we could check the trailer in. Finally had to call the Foley office for help.

Twice I have tried to pick up a u-haul there. The first time the trailer didn't exist in their lot, and I had to find the trailer in another town. "Guaranteed ready" didn't work there. I needed another trailer for my latest trip, and the woman behind the counter gave me the assigned trailer, and it wasn't in her lot either. She blamed the "uhaul people" for taking trailers without telling her. The person behind the counter was rude, seemed annoyed that they had to set down their phone and do any work. We are still in the process of a large move with more than one household. I will not attempt to rent from that location again.

I'm not sure if I'd recommend this location or not. When I reserved my truck online, I reserved hand trucks/dolly as well. When I arrived, I was told they don't have any. Also, the truck I was supposed to get had to be changed, because "the keys for that truck are locked up" …??? The app is terrible. I had to login several times over and over to get the ball rolling. App really needs work done.

This was a terrible experience. The automated checkin was a nightmare. I was parked directly beside the rental trucks however the system thought the location was around the corner. I finally drove around the block and pulled into a car wash and it allowed me to checkout the truck. Signing out the truck took over an hour which ate up a huge chunk of my time. When I arrived back to check in the truck the same thing happened and it took another hour. The second thing is that the price for 4 hours was so ridiculously high I was shocked. I will NEVER rent from this location again.

Ordered moving blankets and didn't have any. Three people in front of me had similar issues with dollies. No one preeped or even had a clue what was going on. Very terrible experience and will rent with another company for sure next time.

The lady working there wasn't much help.. the first U-Haul had a lock on it and the second one had no chains.. do they even inspect these trailers like they are supposed? Apparently not or she would have known all this before hand. They didn't sell any hook up parts. I had to go to the next store to buy those at tractor supply.

Person I dealt with at the location was unfriendly and not helpful. In fact one person was asleep in their chair. I needed help with hooking up the Trajan's was told they didn't do that. I tried but could not do it myself so they did finally come out and help but was fairly rude at having to help

I returned equipment on time However was reported as though I had not then got emails saying I had stole the trailer. Made calls to get things straightened out and nobody at uhaul or the place I rented it from seemed in a hurry to get everything straight. This all happened over the weekend I returned the equipment on Wednesday got a receipt on Monday. No call saying I no longer are suspected of stealing a piece of uhaul equipment.

Per question number 3: your facility was "simply" 19 miles away from our terminal. That is the only reason we moved. The prices was perfect. The hours of operation were conducive to ours and your staff was outstanding. I (we) would recommend your facikity to anyone and billing was so easy. No one showed up until after 11:00 AM. We were not equipped to do self check-out at 9:00 AM, and had not been warned of the need by the fellow who told us our normal location was changed and gave us this new location and pickup time. Your service stinks. There were trucks at our original location- we saw them.

Avoid this place. Completely unprofessional. I moved out of my storage facility July 6th, but the staff did not officially move me out in their system until July 19th, and now they are trying to charge me a fee for a delayed month's rent payment that I didn't even need.

I put in a reservation to pick up a truck in Tuscaloosa on Saturday June 26. On Friday June 25 I was called and told that there was not a truck available within 50 miles of Tuscaloosa . Imagine my surprise to this information when I had moving helpers lined up for Saturday afternoon , I thought when you made a reservation you were guaranteed a truck. I had to drive to Hartselle Alabama to get a truck round trip almost 4 hours that I had not planned on Glad I did get a truck The lady at the Hartselle location was very nice and accommodating and shocked that I had to travel that far for a truck Overall, the experience was fine except for having to drive to Hartselle Alabama for a truck .

It would be helpful if the if the fact that you have to take pictures through the app not before. I tried to take pictures prior to starting the return process but had to retake them while using the app. Let the customer know that up front.

Avoid this location!!!!!! Close your contract with this location immediately!!!! Unable to return equipment due to the location closing more than two hours early than the posted time. I even contacted them to verify that they would be available for drop off. Upon arrival another customer was trying to pick up a rental,he had just spoken with them and they said they would have his rental ready... really???. Two strikes against this location in less than an hour. Not providing a good image for your company.

Employee wasn't wearing a mask at all. Stayed on her phone during most of the rental. Only offered insurance and didn't even mention roadside assistance that I clearly would have taken if offered. Called her several times, with no answer, Sunday because truck got stuck and still have yet to hear from her.

The lady at the counter was just not friendly and condescending. I walked in and told her that I was here to pick up the trailer. She said "so" and gave me a shoulder shrug. As a customer, she made me feel like I was bothering her. I will go 100 % go somewhere else to rent a uhaul trailer next time.
