My storage unit was robbed less than hours after I rented it, the property is poorly managed and kept by the employee's! When I reserve the unit online it was said to come with a free lock as the one I rented before it did, yet when I go to the store, not only didn't they have my reservation I made online, it cost more? Because of me being disabled I asked for one close to the unit I already had there, and was told I could get one close by if I reserved it, which I did, but when I got there it was already rented, and I was given on on the other side of the yard, in a shady area, where I saw a homeless guy come out a 5x5? I told the manager that the lock was free and was told by her it wasn't, and refused to pay for one, I asked her could she put a lock on it and I'd return the next day with my own, that I didn't bring with me, thinking I was getting a free lock? She said she would walk down with the lock when done with the 2 other people after me, and she never showed up, 20 minutes before closing I called the office about the lock, and no one answered at all! When we drove by the office, at 7:05 pm, the lights were out and doors locked, but she said she was there until 7:45 pm? When I returned the next morning with the rest of my belongings, I found that my entire unit was trashed, and My things gone! With 3 locked boxes broken into and 1 gone, all my things gone! And they won't show the video footage of it to me? I just want to be made whole Uhaul!

Ieshia MDue to the inconvenience, I'm requesting a full refund. I received a phone call from the location stating that there was no after-hours pickup available when I successfully confirmed an online reservation through U-Haul's website. I was sent an email stating that the reservation was canceled, which I didn't authorize. I visit the pickup location as soon as they open, only to discover that the vehicle I selected isn't ready and hasn't been checked in by the previous customer. All of these issues totaled to a huge inconvenience and set me back on the arrangements I had already scheduled.
Karl BRented truck that I was unaware had a hole at the top, therefore my belongings were damaged by rusted rainwater. I contacted the location and informed the manager of this issue to which she replied there was nothing she could do about it. Will be filing a claim for damaged property at the fault of the manager and location.

Tremayne HThis location is in a run down scary part of Atlanta. A man stole two blankets off the truck while Ron was speaking to the Uhaul owner sitting in the cab looking at gas n mileage. Ron had to chase down this thief not knowing what he have to deal with behind a store! It was dangerous n the thief threatened Ron n other witnesses. I will never ever visit thst side of town! The owner of Affordable furniture was nice though.

Otis PThis location cheats me every time I rent a U-Haul. The lady who owns affordable furniture but rents out U-Hauls too always seem to be greedy for more money. She overcharges me every time. I always pay for more time than I actually uses and she charges me more in mileage than I actually use. She is a crook and needs to be investigated because this has been going on for years!
