This was supposed to be a remote pick up but when I got there my phone said "No truck is avail, go inside for help". The guy inside was useless and said he knew nothing about U-Haul. Meanwhile I could see it 10 foot truck on location. U-Haul reassigned me to a location 20 minutes away which wasn't feasible for our schedule so when I finally got someone on the phone (an hour later) she got the attendant on the phone, he was able to give me a combo code for the rear latch and sure enough the previous renter had locked the key in the back of the truck rather than dropping it in the lock box so that truck wasn't showing as available. U-Haul offered me a free rental for the complete hassle it was if I was then willing to return the truck to a different location, which we did. I'm still awaiting a refund. I do not recommend this location because the guy isn't trained on how to deal with U-Haul. OR U-Haul needs to make sure that customers return the trucks properly.

I ordered dollies paid for dollies and furniture dollies which were not there nor did I get a credit for any of it. U-Haul tells me I have to get it back from the location they claim U-Haul Hass to do it. Total experience was a disaster.

The truck interior was not clean, especially the cup holders, which are filthy. I found the prior renter's keys on the passenger seat and turned them in to the location. They shrugged and dropped the keys in lost and found. Presumably they could have contacted UHaul and found the prior renter. But I did not get the impression that the clerk cared. Otherwise, this is the closest location and uHaul met our needs. I recommend that each truck include the gallons calculator on the dash or somewhere easier to locate online (i.e., on the rental dashboard) instead of ONLY on the contract that may get lost in email.

Solid experience overall. This is a pick-up location only. There are no agents to help in case something is wrong. However, that made it quick and easy. I guess no one wants to talk to anyone else in person these days. Ha! They actually deliver your truck there from another location. The cell phone check-in made it simple, though that takes twenty minutes to go through the process. No big deal just plan on that time at the beginning and end. For where I live in a very rural area, it's great to have this place.

The woman at the counter was excellent. She was friendly and professional but she did not have decent internet service there so it took quite a while to get everything done there even after I had pre-registered online. I also found out when I picked up the truck that there were no pads or hand trucks available at this location, even though I had ordered 10 pads and a hand truck.

Its an old small gas station and inside is just a liquor store. It was dirty inside and out. Garage overflowing both garbage cans outside. Drove 2 hours and 15 minutes to pick up uhaul and my son needed to use the restroom. The guy working said there is no bathroom at this point i wouldn't let my son use it if there was one. The Guy working seemed to have no care of kindness or urgency to get us on the road. No furniture blankets in truck that we ordered and was on receipt. Had to go back in and the guy had my husband go to a storage closet and get the blankets. I would never recommended this location. We've rented many uhauls and this transaction took far longer than any other time. Plus, no one was wearing masks except us.

Nobody was there who could actually rent the truck. Had to slam passenger side door to make it close and latch. Barely 1/4 tank of gas. Ordered dolly and a dozen pads. Nothing was in the truck. Worst experience ever with Uhaul.

Had to wait along time while they helped other customers as it is also a gas station and convenient store. The moving pads were filthy and so was the truck they had no other supplies

Even though we made the reservation in person, called to confirm, they had no idea who we were or what we were talking about. When given the reservation number they told us it was reserved in some other state even though my confirmation e-mail clearly stated that I was picking it up at the Alden, Il. Location. It took over an hour to finally get the truck and though he told me they had appliance dollies all he gave us was a regular dolly with tiny wheels and no straps. Very disappointed. I'll look for another location next time.
