It's a difficult location to navigate to, and you are taken by golf cart to the vehicles and dropped off and handed the keys. It's a quarter of a mile hike back to the office if you have problems

These guys are great to work with, rent from them you won't be disappointed
LARRY KU-Haul was not clean, equipment was not in the U-Haul, the U-Haul app sucks. I couldn't even pick up the truck from it.
Cade CAmerican Trailer are great to work with if it was just them it would be 5 stars. Out of their control is the Uhaul App which needs some work. It won't let you extend your truck even though the option is there. I went to attempt to extend twice and the reply was no that customers were waiting for the rental I had. Both times were bogus. But the message was pure guilt. I called the number and the associate was like no I can extend it for you. Again American Trailer was 5 stars. I give the app a two stars but didn't want to ding American. I worked retail and know how these systems work.

Randolph KThe agent did not clean or record the mileage after the truck was previously used. The website to enter my pre-trip mileage was also not working. Between these two things, I was charged WAY more than I should have been for only about 32 miles of driving.
Travis SHave the employee better trained and skilled with a computer, information and process. I informed customer service that in June I rented a uhaul and it had old water bottles, soda cans and cups, empty chip bags and sunflower seeds throughout the cab of the truck when I got it and uhaul gave the truck to me in a mess. I had to clean it up or I'd be charged with its filthiest? So this time I made it clear I didn't want it dirty or messy and it was! Both floor boards were covered in dried up mud. Your employees really should do their jobs, so others that aren't paid don't have too.
SHERYL AGREAT folks to work with….and I'm picky. Whenever you're renting a U-Haul it's usually part of a stressful event. These folks made it smooth and easy.

John FOnly complaint was I had to go to two locations to get equipment I ordered.
Barry WThe tall slender guy I talked to on the phone was not very nice, he would not let me drop off the u-haul in Middleton where we were moving from so I paid an extra $64 to pick it up all the way in Boise off of Orchard and to take it back. I will never rent from there again.

However, I had selected a different location for convenience based on UHaul's online website directing me to those locations that had the trailer I wanted to reserve. UHaul then called me in advance and redirected me to this location to get the trailer. I had no problem with that, but do question why UHaul even gave me the option to get the trailer at my first choice site.

DAVID VAfter I found out the damage when we arrived in Boise while unpacking, the Store-It guy was more helpful than the staff at this location. They didnt even ask to see where the damage was or what they could do. I found out I had to go through a 3rd party claim system even though its not my fault. I wish they had said they could help me if I just provided the information, but they were not interested at all. I asked if they could come out to look via the Store-It guy and they said no, just take photos and send it in. VERY dissapointed. I will be complaining on every social media location I can find if i dont get refunded for the damages. Also note, some of the damaged wooden stuff was custom made for us and our childs crib was damaged to where we cant even use it.

ROBERT SI was towing a car on a trailer. The tie down strap on the right front wheel had been cut previously and was not long enough to get around the wheel. We had to deflate the tire to get it attached.
david kTruck was dirty inside the cargo area when we picked it up and we had to sweep it out ourselves before we could start loading. We brought the truck back 18 hours early and were not given any type of discount.
Tyler MFirst truck 26 footer had suspension problems had to take it back it was filthy dirty especially on the outside windows you could hardly get the the dirt off. Second truck ran better but was also dirty and was literally on empty when we picked it up. Appreciated the return in Vernal UT very nice folks. Would highly recommend removing your contract from the folks we rented from in Boise. As they said this is a side business and it's obvious they're not paying any attention to it! We have used U-Haul now for 30 years but for the first time Next time will look into your competition!

Audrey BThis is a uhaul company review. Paid for Boise Idaho to Tillamook oregon, refused to take car hauler at any nearby uhaul drove 2,5 hours round-trip to return trailer to sharadon oregon when there was at least 4 uhaul's dropoffs closer. Lost my business forever.
