I wanted a smaller trailer but had to take a larger one at same cost. Still, it was a good experience.
Richard WWhen Enterprise Rent-a-Car promised me a car the local shop didn't have available, they left me stranded 30 miles from my family after an $80 cab ride, and no Lyft, Uber, or other cab companies were around, this local U-haul store was there for me, and had the equipment I needed to drive just north of the Richmond Airport one-way to pick up a National Car Rental so my family could get on with our vacation. I am so grateful for the one-way service, it was critical in my decision and ability to use this service.
mattew k1) Make sure that the blankets that are given are totally dry. There were a few in the bag that were still damp. I did not want to use them because the dampness would have been detrimental to the furniture. I was lucky that I discovered this before I left the location. 2) Make sure those who rent cargo trailers know that they will be responsible for backing them into spaces when they return them.

WILLIAMS RI've rented several U-hauls over the years and this truck was the worst I've ever gotten. At highway speeds the wind noise was so bad because of the damaged passenger side door, that I could not hear a conversation on my phone, though my earbuds. The back door is difficult to open. This truck should be fixed or retired.

benjamin rAfter getting the run around from road side assistance, this office said enough and rented me a different truck. Was able to complete the rest of my trip return the vehicle before roadside got back with them. UHAUL Road side assistance is a joke, and needs and immediate overhaul

Robert BPlace looks like a closed down bank. No helpful signs up telling you that you're at the right building. Wife and I stood in the parking lot looking around for several minutes trying to figure out where the actual storage place was. Showed up for the truck late and the software wouldn't let me pick up the truck. Was 45 minutes late for the movers because of that delicious software foolishness.

Jo-ann LPick up was complicated because it was not listed in the computer as remote pick up. Several phone calls and attempts with the lock box, things were great!

Kris KNice truck - clean, equipped with all the bells and whistles, got plenty of time to load, rest, drive, rest, unload, rest and drop off. It wasn't too bad on fuel either!

Kevin MI had driven 6 miles total, and could have returned it to B&W easily, but the app made me take the truck 20 miles extra to return it in wise North Carolina. EXTREMELY inconvenient, plus i was charged for the milage and had to adde gas enough to return it. I feel like i had to pay U-Haul to move their truck and pay for the mileage, and gas. Not a good product. I will be following up with U-Haul.
Herbert BI think trucks should be delivered with a full tank. Easier for the renter to fill verses having to bring back at 1/4. Trucks front end and tires need to be inspected more often as the truck I rented in January had metal showing on drivers side front and shimmied badly. I did not know this when I picked up. It was a horrible drive. When I went to pick up this truck on February 9th the first 20 foot truck had the exact same issue. I informed them and luckily they had one other 20ft truck. This is very dangerous especially pulling a car hauler trailer and a full load.
bill mB & W mini storage was great! It was the rest of the process was a horrible hour. Yes 1 hour to complete the process. The girl on the phone was telling me to do one thing and the website was taking me somewhere else. She was calm. But not helpful. Said she was going to have someone else help me , hung up and that was it from her. I had to start over about five times and take 5 selfies. Not happy! I'll rent from home Depot next time!

SUSAN SDon't change the reservations without contacting the customer. Totally drop the virtual drop off/pick up or do a major replacement of the process as it doesn't work and don't have the time to spend 30 minutes figuring it out. We won't be using U-Haul again. It was the worse experience of our lives.
Gail LI picked up the truck with 1/4 tank and a fuel range of 139 miles to empty. I dropped it off with 1/4 tank and a fuel range of 153 miles to empty. I was charged $87 for fuel. This is unfair business practices.
LARRY WThe location was nice - however, the App didn't work. We were there by 800 am and it wasn't until after 845 am that we were actually able to access the truck. The app kept telling me we were not at the correct location. when it finally picked up the correct location, it took forever to move through the steps to actually "get approved". It was a waste of time while our movers were waiting for us. The passenger side door of the UHaul didn't work so I had to climb across the driver side seat. My husband fixed the door later in the day.
