The Driver's seat was NOT adjustable (would NOT slide forward or back) when I got in the truck. It would have been nice had it worked. I forgot to mention it when returning the truck.

Bobby DunnThis location was closed on Sunday which I knew about beforehand. Neither Uhaul or the location did not tell me that I'd either need to bring my passport, have someone from my work be available to take a call or TWO contact be available to verify me. That info should be presented beforehand. I was picking up a truck on Sunday, was scrambling to get two contacts together as my work is closed on Sunday and I didn't have my passport w/ me. Besides that the truck was fine.
James EconomosWeb and mobile app didn't work when I was returning the vehicle. Got charged a "cleaning fee". The interior of the cab was noticeably dirty when I picked up the vehicle, with a coffee stain on the seat and the floor needing a vaccum. Interior of box truck was clean. I loaded and strapped in one item, drove less than 10 miles, returned the vehicle 2 hours later with more gas than it started with, and did not add any dirt to the interior or exterior of the vehicle and still got charged the fee. Typical poor service from U-haul but there's not too many other options.

Terrence MilliganWhen I picked up the truck the interior was clean but it was making a loud noise. I went back and asked the attendant if it was ok and he said it's been making that noise for a few months but hasn't been fixed but I should be ok. The biggest issue is my horrible experience with the owner (Shawn Viland) of the Batavia Parcel Service on Randall Road in Batavia, in regard to their U-Haul services. I rented the 10-foot truck on Sunday to move my daughter and returned it with a full tank of gas by the time I was supposed to. This morning I got an extra charge for 2 gallons of gas (at a ridiculous price) because the owner said it was not full. I went there this morning to ask about it and when I arrived he said he already sent in the reading to their corporate office (where they do the billing) on the gas tank and it wasn't full. I told him I drove to the Walmart in Batavia to get gas last night - filled it up and drove a few blocks to his parking lot and dropped off the truck - with a full tank! Since he started arguing with me, I asked if I could see the truck to check it for myself. He reluctantly gave me the keys before he said it was taken out again this morning. Well, I went to the truck and took a picture of the mileage and the gas tank was full! No one had taken it out, the mileage was the same as when I dropped it off. So, when I went in to tell him that he was wrong and that he made a mistake, he would not look at the picture and started to rant about him having 3-4 customers a month that claim they had a similar gas issue, and that he has high blood pressure. Well, he refused to make it right - was yelling and told me to take it up with UHaul - which I did and they refunded my money once I sent them a picture of the full tank with the exact same mileage. This guy is very deceitful and if I had a problem I'm sure others have too. If he had apologized or done something to help, this would be different, but he just yelled, raised his hand at me and walked away yelling. It's a bummer because they are in my town where I've lived for over 40 years.

kathy cherryThe app was mildly frustrating to use during the rental process. It didn't fail completely, but there was a lot of pop ups during the photo upload process indicating something went wrong and I had to do that part again. Otherwise I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly it all went and I will do it again if needed.

Louis VigliottiBatavia Parcel was horrible. Was charged $20 for insurance when I requested no insurance. Wanted truck for 2 days and paid for 2 days but stalked me to bring truck back earlier so they could put the truck back on the street.
Jim SengWe got charged an extra $16,5 for gas when we filled the tank back to where it was when we got it. The office claims it was off. It was not. I have pictures of it. We will NOT ever use this office again and I will make sure to tell friends and family to avoid this location.
