Raymond DiazThe machine was really clean, just needs some maintenance. I'm going to write no because these questions should be 2 separate questions because they don't relate or have a more precise question. The 26' box truck I had got the job done but the truck probably could use some maintenance. I think one cylinder was intermittent or not working. Could hear popping, backfire noise more noticeable under load. Once stopped and opening the door could smell rich exhaust fumes. Radio didn't work, fan 3 on ac doesn't work, steering really loose.

Larry PattersonThe 26 foot truck was clean, tires good, looked good from the outside but engine needed serviced. Oil was good but engine misfired, operated on 6 or 7 cylinders of 8 under load or acceleration. Gasoline consumption was higher than expected and steering needed service. At 157,962, the truck likely needs spark plugs, plug wires and fuel treatment, probably tie rod ends and steering inspection before next customer uses it.

James BrooksI did not sign up for save move but was charged for it and we left the tank where it was when we got it and got charged for gas.
Shannon NealThe loading ramp was damaged and was unable to be used and it was the only truck in the biggest size. Without the loading ramp it made the move a lot more difficult. Need to better maintain your trucks or at least offer a discount for trucks that have damages that affect the customer when using.
Michael WhitakerOnly down side was the rate was twice as expensive as quoted on the phone. I needed the trailer so I had to rent it. It was there and ready just like I reserved, so that was a good thing.

Teddy RawlinsThis vehicle seems to be at the end of its career. There were other newer trucks available on site. It still functioned well, just not the same experience I have had with Uhauls in the past in terms of newer vehicle.

Randall LFirst off, I paid $158 to rent a 26' box truck. They asked how far I would be traveling and it's 40 miles to the location. So I told them that. They then tell me the truck is reserved and has to come back to that location. I was fine with that. Was told it had a half tank of fuel. It was only 1/4 full. I get a charge on my debit 11 days later for $266. I called and they said I went over the miles. I wouldn't have if they wouldn't have had to have the truck back. They didnt tell me there would be other charges on my debit. Told me it was for a hold. Cheaper to get a pickup and trailer. Definitely lesson learned.

Wayne CooperEvery truck should be checked after each driver for performance of vehicle. The truck I rented has transmission issues and it took me 4 hours to take a 1 hour drive, the motors RPM's were extremely high going down a hill when you take foot off of gas pedal. I'm very disappointed in this rental and I would like some kind of compensation for it. Also why did it cost me almost $500 to rent a truck for 1 day ?
James JonesExcessive play In steering. Border line dangerous on curvy side roads. Rear end roaring/howling Belt slipping/squealing causing a very strong odor of burning rubber.
Tony LewisThe ratchet straps were rusted and not in proper working order. I called them for assistance and they had no solution at all. So I was forced to figure something out on my own.
Cheyenne WilliamsThey were ready for me for the most part, although some paperwork had to be completed manually that I had already submitted online. But the people there were very helpful and knowledgeable. They were thankfully willing to give me options but less onerously upselling than uhaul's website.

Ruth ToosleyThe location was great and staff were friendly and called us, even though we'd be picking up and dropping off truck after hours. The site was convenient and well lit at night. The online process was slow and sluggish for us. (Please remind folks their phone should be fully charged in case something goes wrong, like in our case). Our cell phone opted to be defiant and our phone's data and internet connectivity problems created some hiccups. We tried to log in upon arrival, but our battery was low after a long day at work, and we forgot password back at home computer. Our GPS location wasn't detected accurately by Uhaul website and we weren't able to easily fix the location in the settings, so we had to restart the phone and then delete the cookies to be able to access the Uhaul sign-in website again. The check-in process took a lot longer than it should have and made us late getting to our destination, but that is the price you pay when fully relying on technology to do business. Maybe remind others to bring their password, and add a hint about deleting cookies for future clients if their initial log in attempts fail. We're still appreciative of the after hours service though, because we could not have used the truck if we were only able to access during business hours.
