CHUN Phe charged a cleaning fee when i already took pictures on the uhaul website before i used the back of the van. it was dirty and dusty.

Anadena RI was hoping to rent at a location closer to my house, like on Gaffey in San Pedro. However, the owner of this location is uncommunicative, not friendly at all, and the location isn't open until '9:30 or 10am', per the owner. It's kind of a late start to get mo ETS and start a move.

David TI rented a van and drove it to the OC Fairgrounds to pick up merchandise from the Gem Fair. There were about 25 vans parked around me and we were all loading and loading merchandise. I drove back to the UHaul distribution place, but stopped to fill the tank. My son, who had been with me throughout the entire trip started filling the tank when one of the gas station customers yelled to my son, "It's leaking out!" This gentleman was kind enough to look under the van where the hose to the tank is connected, behind the place where the gas pump goes. He snapped a picture of the hose. It looks like it had been cut. There was $35 of gas on the pavement! I was upset because I felt like I had been driving a very dangerous vehicle and gas on the floor is dangerous. When I tried to explain what happened to the gentleman of 902 W Aneheim St, Wilmington, he said that obviously the hose must have been cut while I had the van. Impossible!

kathy mThe gas gauge of the car was damaged, so no matter how much gas I added, the staff told me that it was not enough. Until the end, I added an extra quarter of the gas tank, and the staff didn't make any compensation, or return my fee.
Linyong WNo need for improvement. Mr Roman is a very professional business man. Very respectful. Very well spoken. I will definitely recommend and refer him to my family and friends. His location is in bad part of town. Or else I would have given him 5 stars

However, the owner needs more training or learn how to make the estimate of everything from the day of picking up because he never asked me how many miles I estimate I wound use. He told me that he would charged me for everything when I returned the van. But that never happened, the old man decided to charged me whatever he wanted which I was very confused about because my bank account went negative because of that. I trusted his words and I really thought he was gonna charge for everything when I would returned the van.... I was very disappointed, he shouldn't rent any cargo vans or anything. I wouldn't want this to happen to someone else.
Cesar NWell it was a very interesting day that's for sure. Upon pick-up of the vehicle that I intended to rent it was vandalized night before by someone and the driver's window was shattered. I didn't receive a call, text, or email informing me of what happened, but the owner did have a chance to reschedule my pick-up at a farther location that I didn't plan for. I had 3 guys waiting for me at my apartment and I didn't have time to spend. I picked up a broom and helped him clean the mess on the driver and passenger seat. I did take the truck to not waste time and the rest of the day went on pretty smoothly. I brought the trunk back around the afternoon and checkout was a breeze. I feel like I'm owned a discount or a refund to be honest. I took the time to actually clean the vehicle and prep for my rental period. I have photos of everything and can send if needed.

Alizta MUhaul can be way clearer about the steps. I've never rented a uhaul before and did not understand the online process and that I had to go back into the app and check out at the location it would've been great if someone explained that to me and all the details. It would have saved some frustration and time.
Si-Mon GWorst rental experience I have ever had from pick-up to drop off. Owner claimed his computer was not processing correctly and that we needed to do everything from the message link that did not work for me. Truck died at our drop off location and we had to get a jump start for it, which put us a half hour behind our work schedule. Truck also died on return so I could not take pics. Will not rent from this location ever again.

Vasati MLocation is hard to find. GPS has a hard time finding this U-Haul location. Customer service was below average. The store is filthy and unorganized. Products are not displayed. Boxes are not offered tape, moving equipment ect. Owner means well! Nice guy. Unfortunately this does not help your customers feel confident or at ease when they are about to make a move or task at hand.

Kan HI have to say that Best Union, where I picked up and dropped off my U-Haul van is THE BEST! They totally took care of me!! I can't say enough good things about them! I am 100 % satisfied with them and the van I rented. Side note: A few rentals ago, my rental hadn't been returned, and I was without a vehicle. Best Union found me another truck, at a different location, AND HE DROVE ME TO THAT LOCATION!!! This is what customer service is all about!!!

EVAN PUpon arriving to this location, I was not aware that the UHAUL center was through a vendor inside of a small market. No signs were posted, no direct business number for direction assistance was available so I had to go into each store to identify which business was with UHAUL. Once inside, the owner was very short and rude, he took me to the car, we did a walk around the vehicle, everything was clear but the dashboard lights were flickering very briefly upon start up. Halfway to destination the Left sideview mirrors were caving in, not secure, I had to hold the mirrors when changing lanes which were very dangerous, had to drive in the slow lane 55/60 mph due to the instability of the vehicle. Anytime I would drive (going within the speed limit), when going over any minor bump or lane change upon acceleration, all lights would flicker, the speedometer and other meters would wave back and forth and the vehicle would lightly shake. It was an unsafe trip, very nerving and scary at the same time. I reported it to the owner, the owner was very nonchalant about my grievances, slightly deflective towards my complaint so as of now I am waiting to connect with customer service for a refund of service.
CIERRA LPickup location was dirty and unorganized. Associate at the location was rude and unhelpful. I was charged for an appliance dolly that i did not receive.

William MThe gentleman who rented the truck to me was VERY rude, unprofessional and couldn't care less about making sure that customer was ever going to come back for future business or not. He had an attitude because I wasn't familiar with Uhauls 24/7 truck share program. On top of that, the truck had graffiti on the passenger side. I went to home Depot and purchased graffiti remover and spent an hour removing the graffiti. The truck had not been maintained very well as the check engine light stayed on the whole time I was driving. The interior of the truck was filthy. Before I returned the truck, I took it to the car wash and washed it. I also wiped down and vacuumed the inside. I will NEVER rent from this location EVER again.!!!!!!!!!!

LISA KThey forgot my equipment I ordered and charged me as such, truck smelled of cigarettes, the guy talked to me both times without a mask, parking lot is full of people living in their cars (saw I drug deal happen while waiting). The app asks to deposit the key in a dropbox, which this location does not have. The guy was rude and claimed I'd be charged an additional 30 dollars, which was wrong.I would never come back or even think about recommending this place to anyone let alone a friend.

Bernice NFirst of all there are signs posted at the door that face coverings are required by customers, staff and vendors, and the man was not wearing at mask AT ALL the entire time. I made sure to keep my distance as much as I could. I felt very uncomfortable. Even though I did online check in, I still have to wait because he said it didn't take, and it wasn't in the system, even though it all was.. He was kind of of rude too. upon returning , there were several men in the store and a couple did not have masks on and once again, neither did the man in the store. In addition, the parking situation is a nightmare. Very difficult to get in and out and almost didn't have a space to park the truck on return. we got lucky that some one was leaving, but parking spaces are very tight and not fit for the moving trucks.

I rented a furniture dolly but it was "not there" according to the manager, he advised me to go to another U-Haul to get one from them a few miles away. Terrible customer service, why wasn't that problem solved before my pick up time?
