Was charged a $6 cleaning/missing fee and wasn't explained why. Support ticket sent to UHaul.

Robert DWe picked one of the few days out of the year that it raised in Albuquerque to move. The 20 foot truck had a small leak. One piece of furniture was wet in one small place and a box and a few blankets were wet. We pointed out the leak to the Uhaul location. No damage for us. Otherwise the experience was excellent.

Smelled like wet dog n freshner to coverup, ash tray full cab wasnt wiped down, no fluid in windshield wipers less than a quarter tank of gas.shopped combined with auto garage dirty smelly auto garage .i really thought i had called the main uhaul on western n i27..they are a few blocks apart..
BETH HClose this location. It is 1950s old gas station unorganized mess. Nothing has been cleaned for a long time. The person doing the paperwork etc did not seem to care.
ted sThe personnel met me before I entered the location and unhooked the trailer. She checked the trailer in on her phone therefore I didn't go into the location.
THOMAS NFirst of all the location was great. The people were friendly and very helpful. When I plugged in the trailer I noticed that one of the tail lights was out. This was not the owners fault as she did not have the resources available to fix it, so I kindly took the trailer to the main uhaul location to have it repaired. The guy standing outside the main uhaul took out the rivets and looked at the light. You could tell when he was working on it that there was a short in the wiring, but nevertheless with some banging on it he "sorta" got it to work. He went to look for a light bulb to replace it, but he didn't have any. I looked over and saw that there were two of these tow Dolly's sitting on the side of the building and I figured that I would receive one of those as a replacement while they moved the other one in to get serviced, but I was wrong. Instead the guy said that if I really wanted to get it fixed then I could take it to the shop on the other side of town to see if they had what was needed to fix it. So I again drove this tow dolly around town illegally to get it looked at. When I arrived at the shop the guy looked at it and it was working. In my mind I figured that he would be like it might have a short so let me give you another and I'll work on this one, but he tugged on the electrical cord and said this happens all the time. At this point I was just ready to go because I had used up one hour of my 6 hour rental to try and fix their equipment. You would think with a company this big that they would have a way to better maintain their equipment so that there customers do not drive unsafely and illegally. Luckily for me I was driving during the day time and not at night when I would've been either pulled over or been a hazard on the road. I just want to reiterate that the rental location was great and I would highly referred them to a friend. As for the company itself I am disgusted with the mismanagement of the maintenance of their vehicles.

MELANIE SDon't know if the cust Serv rep on phone changed the charges her and I discussed but I've been charged approx $100 more than I should have. Don't think it was lo cation faukt. Have spoke to Uhaul cust Serb since to file a claim. Not happy at all.

Mike LHad so much difficulty locating a trailer. Had to bring the vehicle to the facility before I could rent a trailer so the larger one I needed was no longer available by the time I could get there. The trailer I got had a extention that lifted it to the point that the ground clearance in the rear was 4 inches!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!
debra vTHE GUY THAT HELP HUCK UP THE TRAILER DIDNT TIGHTEN THE HITCH UP ON THE TRAILER AND WHEN I GOT HOME AND DROVE THE VEHICLE THAT I WAS MOVING TRAILER HITCH CAME OFF RAISED UP AND RIPE A 6 TO 8 INCH PLACE ON MY TAILGATE. NOT SURE ON REPAIR COST YET BUT SURE IT GOING TO BE MORE THAN COST OF TRAILER RENTAL. PLAN TO GET ESTIMATE ON REPAIRS TODAY.

james sMy flight was cancelled called agent and they reserved it for the next day. I was not notified that the truck was at another location. When I arrived the store was closed and it was snowing. I called the number of the owner and he came to the office and we finally located the truck on the other side of town. Took a cab to the location needless to say I was very upset and cold. I was enroute from los angeles to Amarillo when the location of the truck was changed. Thank you UHAUL
