The truck was not clean inside the cab and also inside the cargo area. Customer service was not acceptable. The service rep wore headphones and was speaking to someone on the other end for the whole transaction of my signing out of the truck.

The people who spoke to me and my partner have not been helpful at all. We were first told $30 charge to my card. Then we got a charge for $60 to my partners card. Not only the wrong card but also double the agreed price. Fine, its done and i'll just give my partner the money. But now I get a receipt for over $80. When we were charged the $60 we were told up down left and right that the $60 was the one final only charge. I feel personally scammed and I am upset on my partners behalf. They say we drove 44 miles and at max we drove 30. I will NEVER recommend U-Haul EVER. Stealing money from a college student moving to my first apartment.

Although we made a reservation for a 10ft truck the day before, there was no such equipment on the property although we saw it there earlier in the day. They must have rented it out even with our reservation. Instead, it was a typical "bait and switch" where we had to pay extra for a larger truck, and they refused to honor the agreed to price in the reservation. This location has many bad reviews, and I am not sure why U-Haul continues to let them deceive customers. They also tried to tell us we used a half a tank of gas for a 15-mile usage where we showed before and after pictures to refute their claim. Next step is to report this to the BBB, internet sites and any appropriate governmental agency as to this fraudulent activity.

The unit didn't have gas and I put 30 dollars in it and it turns out that they charged me for gas, this company is a liar and an abuser, they charge you. I don't recommend it to anyone.

I had to wait an hour to get the truck key because the owner could not come to open the lockbox. I did not get all the equipment that I requested and upon the return, they wanted to charge for it. We had to call the morning attendant so that they would believe me instead of just checking their inventory. The location was convenient for my needs but the management was not what I expected.

The service clerk rolled her eyes and had an ugly attitude when I checked in to get my truck. When picking up my truck the man refused to use a calculator and tried to charge me 22 miles when it was 12. I corrected this with my own calculator. Very unprofessional and very rude staff. Truck had no trash but was dirty to the touch. Lastly, I had a hard time uploading my ID and the lady would not let me change my address in the system. She said it doesn't matter so she can leave it the same even when I asked to update it.

The UHaul was/is disgusting. Previous user things were still there including name badge and cardboard? The drink holders had old candy wrappers in them, leaves in the back, overall poor experience. The checkin process was clunky to say the least, I'm good on ever renting from UHaul again.

Help customer to find the required van or truck even if it is not in this location. Don't assume that the customer only needs the truck for certain hours, usually unexpected things happens and the truck can't be returned in time. Explain the difference between hourly rental and full day rental.

This location was disorganized and rude. They altered the price so I ended up paying almost twenty dollars more than the estimate with taxes. I pre-checked out yet it still took over an hour. If I have to rent from this location again I will find alternative avenues to rent a truck. Returning the truck was a nightmare at 10 pm in a deserted parking lot at a damn near closed store. NEVER AGAIN. Also, do not use the feature to assist with hiring helpers. THEY NEVER SHOWED 190 waisted!!!

Place was short on staff and the store was dirty. Could not reach the store by phone due to failure of call multiple times Vehicle had a service engine light on and when I mentioned it, they stated it had been this way for awhile now. Staff at checking was rather robotic! No smile or friendly conversations I guess I should not have expected much more from a convenience store! .. but the truck did the job.

This uHAL expeirience was not good at all. First upon pickup the first vehicle received, pretty much all the engine lights were lit up. We asked for a different vehcile just to get a new one and then break down 1 hour out of town. We could not get through to someone onsite for assistance and had to call the customer service line, finally got in touch with roadside assistance waited over 2 hours for them to come and confirm if we could recieve another vehicle or not. Definerly will not be using this locaiton again.

My rental wasn't due until 5pm, I got a call around 3:00pm asking where I was because there was a reservation waiting for me to return it. When I told her that, she said "if you don't return it to the same location we report it to the police as stolen". The attitude I got, and the feeling of being rushed because the next reservation was waiting for me even though I still had a couple of hours was unprofessional to say the least. Now, I've been to other locations and never had this bad of an experience. Do not pick up here.

I was absolutely disturbed at how I was treated by the uhaul company at the location on wirzbach (not the location on my contract). They called me 15 minutes before my reservation began to tell me that I did not have a truck available, even though I had made a reservation more than a week ago. They told me I would be contacted by uhaul to arrange another truck, which never happened. I called San Antonio headquarters myself and had to beg for a truck multiple times before they would "adjust their schedule" and let me use another truck. For more than 15 minutes, I was told no truck would be available and I was on my own. I had movers on the way, but uhaul showed they really could not care less about fulfilling their obligation to customers. I asked if they would help me move, because they had thrown off my whole moving schedule, and they said no. Eventually, they found me a truck at the de zavala location, which was great. No complaints with the de zavala location, they were efficient, responsible, and made things happen. The other locations though, and the uhaul company in general, I give a grade F for customer service, honesty, and commitment to a job well done.

Inside of vehicle was filthy.. gooey sticky residue in the drink holders, dirty floor boards, old Nasty cigarette butts in the ashtray. Everything felt sticky and gross inside the entire vehicle. I've rented uhaul s many many times and have never had a nasty truck like that. Definitely won't go back to that location again. Felt so gross and dirty just driving it that I went home and took another shower before we even started moving anything

Truck was reserved for 8 am and attendant didn't show up until 8:40. The truck had lots of dents and scratches that weren't marked requiring me to document the damage. Truck also had a hand truck in it I didn't request or need.

Location is at a convenience store and no supervisor on site at time of drop off. Clerk had to contact the person in charge by phone. We just turned in paperwork and mileage to the clerk. I think there should be a true Company representative on site.

This location provided me a truck that had a damaged wheel that was a hazard to drive, the truck back was filthy, and the gas meter was broken. When i brought these things to the attention of the dealer( along with pictures and proof that the truck had a faulty meter and was dirty when receiving it with broken glass and debris) they charged me a cleaning fee and for gas at 6$ a gallon when i had already put $40 in the tank when the meter itself never moved. Mind you this was for an in town move up the street. I will never work with this dealer again. Nor will i recommend them. Please find a real dealer, these people are thieves.

Online checkin was having issues finding my location but still pulled up steps in returning coke to find out it never went through I had to call 10 mins past my return time since I didn’t receive a notification it was received to find out it was never submitted so I had a late fee because of the system issue

My truck had a check engine light It drove like tires were low on air The rental went from $19,99 to $84 on a local rental for less than 3 hour rental. Charged mileage.

Train the employees on customer service and also train on how to attach and remove trailer attachments. As I was told to go back and forth between 2 locations due to lack of communication from both ends. For my first time using uhaul it was the Worst experience ever.

The rental had some mechanical problems with what appeared to be the power steering or transmission. I reported it to the manager who responded they couldn't do anything about it. They were unwilling to provide me with another truck and to go ahead and take the truck anyway. I feared that the truck would leave me stranded. This dealer needs to be reprimanded and I feel Uhaul owes me a refund. Please advise me your intended course of action.
