Wade was great to work with. Internet was down, but he still got us out the door quickly relatively speaking. My go to local uhaul dealer for sure.
Gary Rupgrade trucks . the rental i had felt like it was going to break down , a lot of noise and in order to pick up speed you have to mash on the gas and that’s how they get you because of the mileage right there which i think is definitely no right

Rusell PMy pick up of the truck would not work over my phone for me or the owner! Luckily he was there or I'd had to wait for them to open up to get the truck.

David R24/7 pick up and drop off was convenient but not very easy. Drop off takes forever since you have to take 20 photos to prove you didn't cause any damage to the truck. Price was reasonable.

Martha HThe return location in Tappahannock was closed when I needed to return the truck and car carrier. The online return process was confusing and my phone service was spotty in Tappahannock. The online after hours return process asked me to take about ten pictures and upload the images online. I followed all the steps. I never got an email confirmation that my return was complete. I drove off the lot in Tappahannock knowing that I did everything that I was supposed to do and I really wanted to have an email confirmation from U-Haul. I have no complaints about Tappahannock location. However, U-Haul needs to provide customers with a return confirmation.

gregory lThe drop off process was equally seamless. I didn't catch the gentleman's name, but he got us checked in and back home very quickly. He was very helpful and polite. Given how difficult it can be to pack up your entire family and move states away, I can say that our experience with uhaul was a breath of fresh air. Great work! Thank you!

Debra MPlease do not move the pick up location. Our pick up location was moved twice and each time it was further away from where we were going to be picking up our belongings. Also, we asked for a 10 foot truck but had to take a 15 foot truck. We were told, "at least you don't have to pay more for a bigger truck". The truck was too big for what we had to move. Sometimes you don't need that much space. Overall I would rate this U-Haul experience a 4 out of 10 . We have already decided to try a different service the next time we have to move something.

JeanPaul DWas notified the day before my move the truck I ordered was not available resulting in need to rent a smaller truck and a trailer. This greatly increased the cost of my move.
James SMy original reservation was to pick up in White Stone, Va, but I learned the day before, that my reservation had been changed from a one-way (pick up in White Stone; drop off in Fredericksburg 2 days later) to a three-hour local use rental. Sharon in customer service was able to get it unsnarled and get me this pickup.

gregory lTruck was very dirty and beat up, had to point damage out to location manager. There is profanity in the back of the truck on the posters. Very unhappy experience.
JASONEUGENE BWade helped me greatly with renewing my truck as I couldn't get everything to storage when I arrived. However I didn't drive the vehicle for those days but was charged the same and no extra miles were used. I thought there was a separate "in-town" rate?

DOLORESD RHave the key available when you are signed up for pickup 24/7. Because when we arrived. No key was available we had to travel 1 hour the next day to pickup the key and No apology or responsibility was extended.

Timothy PWindshield was filthy. Guess what? NO washer fluid. So bad I had to stop at the closest station to clean it. The truck had 9k miles, but the steering wheel is at 10oclock while driving straight and it's all over the road. Drop off location had NO parking for the truck when I dropped off. I had to leave it in the drive. Overall the truck got the work done that I needed, but I'm a little sore about the ragged steering and the fact that my pickup location was moved and I was not notified. The only way I found out is the guy who revived the reservation called to tell me he was an hour away from me! Uhaul Gave a 30 mile "credit".
JEFFREYWILLIAM CThe problems with phone messaging lead to unbelievable frustration and anxiety. This communication was a total failure. The total expense was more than I had anticipated even though I had gone in a couple of days prior to find out what I needed to do and the anticipated cost. I must not have asked correct questions and/or misinterpreted statements. I would recommend U Haul a future customer, but I would make the prospective customer aware of the pitfalls that I faced…need to be technology savy with a phone. The one positive thing I can say is the15' truck handled very well when driving it. Reminded me of hauling a load of grain for sale in a one ton farm truck. I-haul was automatic and I did NOT need to shift gears.
LOUISAWALLACE HIt took over an hour for me to check in to receive the Uhaul. I was told after sitting in the parking lot that it was because the previous customer returned it late. It would have been good customer service if I had received a call saying that everything was running behind prior to me waiting. Also I was on hold for over forty minutes and no one ever answered the phone. Other than that the truck was clean and ran well.

KENNETHMARK SI am in Fredericksburg and it was inconvenient to go to this location because Uhaul did not have one in town. Also, Uhaul wanted me to go two more hours away to pick up the car puller... No way....
JOHNMARK CCentury Motors experience was excellent. I am renting again on the 29th from Century Motors. Warsaw, Va. Uhaul is very bad. I had the original reservation at Warsaw because it is closer to where I live. When i went there on my reserved day, the place was not open. I waited over an hour and no one showed up. I called the national number and you changed the reservation to Century Motors in Tappahannock. Tappahannock location is excelletn.
BARBARAMATTHEWS HWe had so much trouble checking in and checking out,(on the website,: Phone) that I would rather go to a location that you can deal with a person, face to face.This location had hours that the times they were open were better than Bankers hours, for them.
