No body was there to confirm the truck drop off. While I understand that it is a 24 hr drop off, this was in the middle of the day.

The customer service number needs improvement. I called and the transferred me 3 times along with the 15-20 minutes wait.

PATRICIA BI filled everything out before hand, as your emails state "will make for a more efficient" check in. It was 1/2 hour later, that the employee stopped fiddling with his phone and give me the key !! I went out to the truck, started to back out, had to pull back in , get out and go in and tell him. the the gas tank was not full. It was 3/4's full. He said,and I quote " oh yeah, thats fine , just bring it back with that much in it...which I did !! I even took a picture of it from my phone. When I got back , he never got out of his chair, checked the truck , took my word on the mileage and then said.. "oh no , it the tank has to be full" I said, I told you it wasn't , I even came back in. He said "well then , we're going to charge an additional $ 25". I had to go to WaWa down the street and put 3 more gallons in it. !! I will never, ever , ever rent a truck from this location again..EVER !! And I will be needing another truck in the next few months to move, but it won't be from this location. I even showed him the picture on my phone, if you'd like it, let me know. He didn't check out that truck at all !! Also, I mentioned when I was checking in that someone told me if I am a member of AAA, it's a 12 % discount, sitting all the way back in his chair, he said "ohhh I don't know anything about that " . Done with this place !!

Geraldine CThe people do not work for u-haul and could not do anything but check in the vehicles. They could not resolve any complaints. I called u- haul because we had gone over our mileage by 40 miles. Really they don't give you enough miles unless you travel the shortest distance which would put you through major cities - I'm not driving through major cities with my car, much less a 15' u-haul! Even the person I talked to at u-haul agreed, but had to forward it up - still waiting :(

Paul PWhen we picked up the vehicle the lady told us we could drop it off at another location closer to where we were going to be unloading it, when I contacted u haul all the lady could tell me was no you have to bring it back where you picked it up from or you will be charged at least 2xs the one way fee. I kept telling her that the lady who handed us the keys assured us that we could drop it off at another location and the associate I spoke with just said no you were misinformed.
Leon GThe truck was filthy when I picked it up. I had no time to inspect it and complain because the woman who was the only employee there had to run off to another location. Also when I brought the truck back I forgot a small item in the back, which then mysteriously had disappeared after I called there 3 times to have them look for it.
Daniel AThis was the first time I rented a vehicle from UHaul. It was an extremely easy process to complete the reservation online. The customer service representative, Pamela Levari, was very courteous and helpful at the pickup location, Columbia Self Storage. Very positive experience.
H. HI will definitely use this location again. The young lady, Pam, was so helpful and her customer service was amazing, and the location was just so convenient. Pam made the process seamless and so easy! I will definitely use this Uhaul whenever I need to move ANYTHING in the future.

Jay NThe website changed my location three times for pickup, the website insisted I use a pickup location close to my home address, when I put in the address I would be at it put me 20 miles out of the way for pickup which added to my per mile bottom line.

Raymond HI've been using uhaul for over 15 years now and the company has gone down hill. It's too expensive to rent a truck anymore and you charge fees for Everything! Will be looking for another truck rental company.

Theresa BColumbia self storage in Mays landing NJ was horrible. The rude woman that we spoke to to check the van back in was useless. The uhaul app was not working so she said she would just check the truck back in on Monday. THEY THEN CHARGED ME ANOTHER DAY OF RENTAL WHEN THE VAN WAS ON THIR LOT. Would never rent a uhaul from then ever again.

Marie MWhen I returned the truck on the evening of 2/17, it was very dark and I drove past the Columbia location because the business signage is not lit nor where there any other lights on the property. So I drove past the location, had to turn around and drive slowly back down Route 40 until I saw it. Even then, turning into the parking lot was difficult, especially with traffic on 'my tail'. There is a light over the building entrance door. But it is motion-activated, and didn't come on untiil I was already in the parking lot.

shelia MI was told the location would be open on Sunday. When I took the truck on Sunday, location was closed and I did not see a drop off key location. I went back on Monday morning and explained my situation and they did not give me credit for a day. I am not happy because I only needed the truck for 1 day and was charge for 2 days. The lady showed me that the drop key location was on the bottom of their door, which is not easily visible. I don't think I should be charge for 2 days. I've used UHaul in the past and never had a problem till now.

Maria CI had no problems at all in fact I didn't get the lady's name but she was so nice and understanding when I couldn't pick up the cargo van at the specific time she took care of the paperwork and told me to come back whenever your ready for the van definitely will be using this place for rentals again!
John RI originally had reserved a truck at another location in clementon, NJ and I drove all the way there for nothing to find out my reservation was changed to the Harding Rd location. I was not notified by anyone in advance, until I got to the first original location.
